Informative
I had tried taking lens ball pix before reading this book, they were horrible. I now know what I was doing wrong. Some really good tips, some obvious, others were a duhhh moment. It will not give you an in depth scholastic approach to using lens ball, but will head you down your creative path.

Great start
This is a great start into the world of crystal ball photography. I like how it had some pictures and quick facts on his things work. It has me excited to learn what I can do as well.

Gets right to the point
This is a very short read, and very informative. It’s a great book for an introduction to crystal ball photography, and had great tips and tricks for a beginner. I would definitely recommend for someone just getting started.

Be Aware it is less than 30 pages
I just read this book before breakfast today. It is slightly helpful but almost everything was already explained to me in a few basic YouTube videos. The author seems knowledgeable and friendly but I expect books to be much more in depth than this, which is more of a pamphlet. On page 26 the author recommends you buy his other lens ball photography book, which he says is 100 pages. If I had realized this, I would have possibly purchased that book and not this little book. Although the book is clearly written and has some nice photographs, I cannot get over the disappointment of accidentally buying a tiny book with scarcely any educational value beyond what I already learned. I can't bring myself to give it any more than three stars because it is so very basic and brief. It doesn't offer enough to motivate me to buy the other book at this point, although I would have done so in the first place if I knew the difference between the two books. On the bright side, I am happy I got a lens ball (not included with the book of course) and will continue to try and learn more about the details of using it.

Crystal Ball photography
I absolutely loved this book. I have my crystal ball ordered and will be here tomorrow. I can't wait to try the mirror and light picture. I want to try with different colors. I love photography. Kathy

Great ideas on how to use the crystal ball
Fully illustrated and wide range of creative ideas on using the ball. I call this a very good primer on this aspect of photography. Recommend for everyone who has a ball.
