I like elegant mugs and cups for my morning or mid-day tea or coffee time. There is something about this little extra touch that turns an ordinary moment into something bit magical that I can use especially on the busy and cloudy days to warm up my soul It is very nicely proportioned and sized. It is not too big like an ordinary office type mug but smaller but larger then your typical coffee cup. Perfect for those times when you don't want a large beverage but small is too small. You also don't need to use smaller cups to run for refills. Color is really dreamy, it is deep pink but not "you need your dark glasses" hot pink. Elegantly finished with touches of gold. The design pattern on the belly of the mug is somewhat magical in design. Kind of remind me of gorgeous misty Asian landscapes but I can't quite put my finger on it. The birds bring to mind the birds of paradise theme and you will be pulled into that mood guaranteed! I have bought other three colors in this size however the pink, green and blue are my absolute favorites. The brown one is not as successful pairing with the other three if you ask me but this is just one person's opinion. I just don't think that that particular brown sings with the other in harmony but then again, I rarely serve the four at the same time so no problem. I think that the blue one is the most spectacular statement of all but this pink follows closely. The green one scores in my book about the same as the pink one. It is noteworthy that this is NOT a bone china, it is ceramic so it is heavier and it is not translucent (as in it does not show the light through if you look against the light or sun). That being said if you are after bone china then it is not it, but if you like and need heavier vessel then that is your "cup of tea". I generally prefer bone china but I settled for this because of the design and colors and overall general magnetism of it that pulled me to it. I just could not resist to buy it. It is truly lovely set to own and display. I am contemplating to buy matching tea pot that forever reason comes in only one color - green! The architecture of it is perfect and goes well with the style of cups but I would like to have more colors to choose from, I probably would go with blue pot. I was not familiar with the designer but when I looked the name up, lots of lovely articles and pictures came up and I can see that the lady knows her colors and design! I love how she pairs colors and her interior decor sings. It aligns pretty close for the most part with my color schemes and preferences and she is able to pull really charming character to her finished products whatever it is so Kudos! to her. I will be looking for more items by that name. Considering Amazon policies I would recommend to try and see how it looks in your home. I love the way it sits in the hand, how it looks on the shelf and how it spread some magic around when in use so you may fall in love with it.

I purchased this mug to replace my cracked Dunoon Mug - Richmond Shape (330ml). It was a lightweight, 203g fine bone china mug made in England and I loved it. When I received this Sara Miller mug I was pleasantly surprised compared to it's price/quality. It holds 340ml and slightly heavier 250g than Dunoon mug(203g), but still lightweight compared to other mugs. The box and mug itself said It's made in China, but no information on composition(fine bone china and etc. ). I guess we must just trust the description on the website. It is a pleasure to drink from this mug, absolutely recommend!

My wife had to buy this brand as we went to my sisters house and one of these mugs fell over on bench and handle brook that easy!!!!!. So my darling wife *oh i must replace it !* My sister is a spoilt women so you could imagine my thoughts anyway its a girl thing, as for mugs i know i will never have this type in my house cheers

Ich habe die Tasse als Weihnachtsgeschenk für meine Großmutter gekauft. Als leidenschaftliche Kaffeetrinkerin brauchte sie mal eine neue, feshe Tasse. Mir erschien sie für den Preis ein wenig zu teuer, jedoch verflog der Gedanke als ich sah, wie meine Oma sich darüber freute. Besonders die Goldakzente gefielen ihr, sie geht sehr behutsam mit ihrer neuen Tasse um und trinkt aus keiner anderen mehr. Mein Opa bekam ebenfalls eine Sara Miller Tasse, die dunklere Version. Übrigens ist der Karton, in dem die Tasse geliefert wird auch sehr anschaulich und dient jetzt als Schmuckkästchen. Also: Absolute Kaufempfehlung!
