The GL-5149 Golight Radioray from Larson Electronics is a 65 watt motorized spotlight that operates with a hand held wired remote control. This model is charcoal gray (nearly black) and has a removable permanent shoe base. The lamp is a halogen Cr5 Pentabeam II bulb that produces 1 300 lumens of light output and has a 6000K color temperature giving it great color rendering and contrasting properties. It produces a wide spot beam that provides 700 feet of coverage and has a 5 million candlepower rating. The remote control operation allows users to rotate the light 370 degrees with a hard stop and adjust vertical tilt through 135 degrees. Remote control functions include on/off buttons and 4 buttons which control up down left and right movement. The handheld wired remote control is attached to the light through a 16 foot cord that ends in a plug. ing for this light includes a shoe base that is ed via 4 screws. Once the shoe is installed the light can slide on and off the base. The light is locked into place when ed on the shoe with a spring loaded button that pops up locking it into place. When the light is removed from the shoe base a suction cup on the bottom of the light allows the light to be ed to other objects. The weather resistant housing is constructed of ASA Luran thermoplastic that is heat resistant impact resistant and UV resistant. Remote movement of the spotlight is provided by an automotive grade internal motor gear and transmission assembly constructed of LEXAN brass and stainless steel to provide rust and corrosion resistance. This light meets marine standards for fresh and saltwater use and is designed for use in all weather conditions. This light operates with 12 volts DC and draws 5.5 amps making it ideal for vehicles boats ATVs and similar sources of 12 volt direct current.
