Finally a music stand that moves (rolls) instead of just falling over every time!!! And, it looks more elegant than a typical music stand, which my wife appreciates. I was really hoping that this stand would be a winner, and it definitely is as long as you don't need to hold large scores or books --- it's not designed for "going big." What it is perfect for is someone like me who has long wanted a stand that wasn't big, heavy, ugly, or would be of the small-and-also-ugly type that tip over too easily. This stand moves if it is pushed instead of falling over. Simple, but genius. In another simple but genius design gesture, there are two small "arms" that hold music in place so wind or gravity can so easily cause sheet music to fall off the stand. Its quality seems very sturdy as well, and as I indicated it looks good --- particularly because the "wide oak wood panel" (note: it looks more like a rich walnut type dark wood) blends much better with furniture than typical music stands.
