I bought these glasses from Target when my husband and I first got married. After 2.5 years of dropping them and knocking them together with not even a chip to show for it I managed to break 2 in 1 day. This is in no way a negative reflection on the glasses, if you knew how clumsy I am you would be pretty impressed it was just 2 glasses in 2.5 years. I hated seeing the empty gap in my glasses pantry so I decided to order some more to fill the void. I looked and looked on Targets website and could not find the glasses anywhere so I decided to give good 'ol Amazon a try and sure enough not only did I find the cups but I found them in a set with 4 more than my original set. After reading the previous reviews I was a bit worried to buy them since it was sounding like they had become frail in the last couple of years, but I was not at all disappointed in what I received. The box was packed very well, not a single glass was broken or chipped and even with reading the previous posts I immediately loaded my dishwasher with them all side by side to wash before putting them up. Again, not a single cup was broken or chipped. I don't know if some of the previous posters received dud boxes or if they are somehow more clumsy than I am, but I have yet to have a problem with them at all. Also, the cups are a great shape. Yes they have the seam on the side mentioned my a previous poster, but it doesn't bother me at all and I wouldn't consider it an eyesore in the least. I think the curved design is neat personally. We have young nieces and nephews who manage to drink from them just fine so I don't see why any adult would have a problem.

I really love them. Saw the swerve design that looks like jiggly jello and made me laugh, so I had to have them. They're so artistic and remind me of custom glass even though these are probably manufactured. I use the short glasses more often since they are much easier to wash and a perfect serving size, but the long ones are beautiful too, just require a little more elbow grease, very small wrists or hands, or maybe a brush or cloth of some sort to clean. They seem pretty sturdy and none of them have broken yet. I wouldn't try dropping them onto a hard wood or tile floor, but they should hold up fine if accidentally dropped a very short distance into a sink or onto carpet. I only ended up using half the package, and may gift or repurpose the rest. If you like them get them! I use them every day.

I absolutely LOVE these glasses. Not only are they sturdy and feel great in your hand, but they are a sure conversation starter. I am actually ordering another set because of a teenager that dropped one in the sink and it cracked. (It was dropped pretty hard.) I want to be able to replace any mishaps and have these as a set for a long time to come. Great buy! I wanted to add on to this review today (Dec, 2013) which is 6 years after original purchase because I am here to most likely buy another set. I still have probably half of these glasses in the cabinet. They are pretty sturdy, standing up to kids and teens alike which is a feat unto itself. I purchased a different set of glasses from another manufacturer on here a few months ago, and watched them break just being in the sink waiting to go to the dishwasher. For a set of just ordinary drinking glasses, these Libbey glasses stood the test. They are nice to look at, have received a lot of compliments, and feel good drinking from. They are not too light or heavy and feel good in your hand. I have not had any problems fitting them in the dishwasher like a previous reviewer had. You won't be disappointed. For the price, they last and last and are a great addition to your everyday drinkware. I just wish they made these in different colors cause that would be fun!

I read a few other reviews and I decided to purchase anyway based on cool factor and price. Everyone likes them including myself! So far what I think (pros) Very cool design Thick glass Easy to clean unless you let something sit at the bottom too long but a bottle cleaner works great... I happen to have one for my sons baby bottles so I recommend you purchase one. Cons I only have one... There is a slight ridge up and down the glassware from where they connected one flat piece of glass ends to make a circle I suppose... Honestly that's not that big of a deal. Also we wash by hand and in a dishwasher and none of them have broken...

I first came upon these glasses in an upscale Resturant years ago. I inquired about them from my server and found a set. Long before Amazon. I have already gone through a set of them and found another set on Amazon. I love these glasses. They are unique and easy to hold. A great conversation piece especially when alcohol is involved. As long as Libby glasses sells them, they will be in my cabinet
