Quick Shaker

I was looking for a shaker/dressing maker that was great quality, highly functional, and economical. This Tupperware shaker fits all of my requirements. The physics of this bottle mixes better than a whisk and better than shaking the heck of it in a jar. It has a wheel on the inside that spins when you shake it.To the people who had a hard time getting the lid on, open the small lid to the spout first so the air can escape. Once I figured that out I had no problem putting the big lid on. It was still tight which is good because you don’t want leaks.

I've had the red Tupperware Quick Shake Containers for years and have found them very convenient to use, wash, and no trouble. I was replacing my old ones because, after starting a new omega supplement, they started smelling like fish oil which I couldn't wash out. I bought another Tupperware model called Quick Shake Container (comes in lime green and blue for $16 ea. ) which looked like a promising replacement (since Tupperware was no longer offering THIS model) but the newer model lid didn't fit snuggly enough to prevent leakage when used as a shaker and it's size is larger so doesn't fit our car's cup holders well. I decided to not test using the omega supplement with the new shakers because I could easily change how I'm taking the supplement vs. buying either another brand or model down the road.5 Stars because its the best one going for me,Recommend? yes, but be careful of using with supplements like omega fish oils.

The lower priced ones come from Tupperware India- which is fine by me, as they are the original, superior shaker cup style (Tupperware's new ones are awful). These are excellent for mixing salad dressings, powdered drinks, or yogurt with milk to make keifer. Just me sure to use both hands to seal the lid- thumbs together and then moving around in opposite directions from six to noon. Otherwise, it's very difficult to get a seal. Once sealed, virtually leak proof!

I use this almost every day to mix protein or meal replacement shakes. The lid was difficult to get on for about the first month or two -- I fixed this by placing the lid upside down in the sink and running warm water over it each day while I prepared my shake. That seemed to loosen the lid just enough to make it easy to get on. Now (about a year later), the lid is much easier to get on and still very secure.Before I found this shaker, I had been mixing the powder with a spoon, which left a lot of clumps. This tastes MUCH better, eliminates clumps, and is easy to use and clean. I find the easiest way to clean it is to put soapy water in and shake it as if you're preparing a shake or gravy.

I purchased this item because it is described as Tupperware. Found out when it was delivered that it wasn’t and am returning

After reading reviews and experience of my own... Firstly, yes it’s ml. Description says this. Yell out to Alexa, or Google assistant and they will convert for you.Second, this isn’t your mother’s Tupperware. It’s still good. Plastic is different. Manufacturers had to remove BPA. Changes molecular properties.Lastly, lid is tough to get on. Run under hot water. Put on lid and let cool. Pop top off and repeat a few times. This should form top to shaker.Overall, good and cheap. Perfect protein drink shaker for this blind consumer.

The picture shows it to look like the old original one. Not. It’s slimmer and the lid is completely different. The inside insert is not even close to original. Haven’t used it yet to compare how it shakes the lumps out.

I bought this because I used to have one and it got lost over the years. I use it for scrambling eggs, mixing batter or a milk shake. Just about any small batch works perfectly in this just by shaking vigorously (But be sure the lid is secure!). It's also easy to clean in the sink or dishwasher. You really cannot go wrong if you buy from Tupperware. You may pay a little extra for the brand but you get a sturdy, long-lasting product (assuming you don't lose it).
