This Xylitol pack is an excellent value. The 5-pound bag is a generous size and will last me a very long time. To keep it fresh, I transferred it to an airtight container and taped a couple of food-grade silica gel packs to the lid to help keep moisture out and prevent clumping. That storage method has worked well for me. The Xylitol dissolves easily, which makes it very convenient to use. It also tastes great and has a strong sweetness, so I only need to use a small amount at a time. I primarily use it as a sugar substitute, but I also use it as a mouth rinse to help reduce bacteria in my mouth and support cavity prevention. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality, taste, and value of this product and would definitely buy it again.

Great sugar substitute… throughout my day I put pinches of it in my mouth and wash it around my teeth with my tongue, as it repels bacteria that cause plaques that lead to cavities… It is very refreshing… it taste like sugar… It keeps my breath fresh! I think this is a good buy!

An acquaintance told me about this and I tried it. I felt better using it than sugar. I didn't notice as much inflammation, if any. My friend was in dental school and said it's supposed to help with bad bacteria and that you can even swish with it. He melts the crystals and makes little candies with them and sucks on them - one in the morning, every morning. I noticed less irritation in my gut compared to using sugar. Overall, a good alternative to sugar or at least a partial substitute if you're going to use sugar.

I purchased this because I was following a new diet and I was not allowed to use sugar. I like it better than stevia. It tastes just like sugar bit you still shouldn't overdo it. I have read over consumption can cause other side effects .
