Valve Steam Deck OLED 1TB Handheld Gaming Console

I got the Valve Steam Deck for my husband as a Christmas gift and it was honestly the BEST gift ever. He has barely put it down since he opened it! It’s super durable, feels really high quality, and the battery lasts a long time, which makes it perfect for playing anywhere. What we love most is that there are so many games you can play and so many possibilities with it. It’s basically like having a full gaming setup in your hands. He takes it everywhere and is constantly discovering new games to play. If you’re thinking about getting this for someone who loves gaming, 100% do it!!!!! totally worth it! He’s about to get me one!! we LOVE IT SO MUCH

Can’t go wrong if you are a gamer! Update: One year in and it had to be sent back to Valve for failure to boot. Love the machine when it works but had a few “buggy” incidents with it since 5-2025. Finally failed completely in 1-2026. On the upside, Valve paid to have it returned to them for some sort of resolution. Not so sure if I would purchase from them again since if they cannot repair it, they plan to return a different one, not a new one, per policy instead. The machine is awesome when it works. One year of intermittent use and it died? Not sure if I got my money’s worth. Had I used it daily, ok. I unfortunately don’t have that kind of free time. Think with my rate of use, 2-3 years would have been reasonable. May have to choose a different system unfortunately for my next purchase. Not sure I like any of the others . The steam deck is king to me but not for a year’s worth of intermittent use.

Absolutely love the Steam Deck. Valve has made it incredibly easy to use out of the box. Within a few mins of logging into my Steam account I was playing games. I predominately bought the deck to play some of the titles from my massive Steam backlog. I haven't found the Switch to be a satisfying enough experience to repurchase some of the titles in my backlog on Steam, so I bit the bullet and bought a Deck. It did not disappoint. It easily blows the Switch out of the water. The screen is much larger, the device itself is more powerful. If you've been a PC gamer, you already have a ton of games you can play on it. Steam already has it set up to tell you which games in your library, and the Steam store, work perfectly with the Deck without any configuration. They also let you know which ones work but either require some configuration, or have other minor quirks that don't provide a perfect experience, and which ones they don't currently recommend at all. I will tell you there is a fantastic 3rd party site called ProtonDB that is crowd sourced and gives you a bit more details on the ones that Steam doesn't recommend. I've found a number of titles Steam has listed as not recommended work just fine as is, or with some minor tweaks to settings or controller layout. If you are a little more tech savvy, you aren't just limited to your Steam library. The Deck includes a number of applications in its desktop mode that allows you to link your GoG.com, Epic, and Amazon games library without much effort. They can all be played from desktop mode on the device, or with a little more effort they can be added to the default "games mode" albeit without artwork that a Steam title would show, etc. The device is also made to be user upgradable, meaning if you are comfortable opening the device you can swap out the Hard Drive for one with more storage, replace the control sticks, etc. If you aren't that comfortable, you can always expand storage by way of microSD cards. I can't recommend this device enough. My only complaint is the price on Amazon. If you can, I highly recommend purchasing directly through Valve/Steam. I ordered through Amazon mainly because I wanted the device to arrive in time for a business trip I was taking, and wound up paying nearly $200 over the direct from Valve price for that privilege.

I wasn't sure if I was going to get much use out of it, as I have had other hand held systems in the past and they basically collected dust. I took a chance on this because it can play so many different games due to being basically a mini computer. Boy am I glad I got this! I play it almost nightly at work. WIth its large memory I have a ton of tiny games on there as well as some heavy hitters like Skyrim, Fallout 4, Mass Effect Collection, and I still have lots of room and the system runs SMOOTHLY! The graphics are great. i use an xbox controller so I don't have to hold the deck, though holding it is very comfortable I just find having it on a stand easier to do while at work.

Es una consola muy potente y personalizable con una comunidad que siempre la está mejorando. Ideal para juegos modernos, retro e incluso algunos juegos triple A actuales. Aunque hay opciones mas potentes en el mercado hoy en día, la steam deck se gana su lugar al ser totalmente customizable, poseer una comunidad muy activa y ser compatible con varios juegos de PC. Ideal para quienes quieren personalizar su experiencia y tener toda su biblioteca en un mismo ambiente. En cuanto a ergonomía, se siente cómoda al tacto especialmente en sesiones largas. La distribución de botones se siente rara al inicio pero es cuestion de costumbre. Lo mismo ocurre con los trackpads, que dan un plus tremendo en juegos dependientes de apuntar de forma más precisa. Un unico punto negativo podría ser que la bateria dura poco si se juega juegos muy demandantes (normal en un aparato portátil). Pero con juegos livianos puede durar incluso mas de 4 horas. Lo recomiendo mucho, me ha gustado mucho. Es un gran complemento para quienes buscan tener su biblioteca en todas partes.

Une super console portable et compatible avec Linux et pas besoin de racheter ces jeux . Je met 3 étoiles car il faut quand même des accessoires dont un ventilateur pour aider le Steam deck a pas surchauffé. Qui est dû au manque de puissance du ventilateur de bases intégré .

Simplemente maravillosa, la batería le dura hasta 8 horas continuas con algunos juegos no tan exigentes, otros juegos más exigentes permiten jugar hasta por 2 a tres horas. La consola va muy bien, adoro la función de suspender a media partida, y poder continuar en cualquier momento justo donde lo dejaste. También si se te daña algún componente o la consola, Valve ofrece gran soporte directo, o bien, tienen alianza con iFixIt para que te reparen o te vendan las partes, y tienen infinidad de guías para repararla por uno mismo. También en la comunidad existen mods para poderla personalizar a tu gusto y medida. Hay otras consolas más potentes, pero la comunidad de la Steam Deck no tiene comparación. ¿Me la volvería a comprar? Si, sin dudarlo.

Excelente aquisição. Roda grande parte dos jogos do Steam sem necessidade de configuração. O próprio dispositivo indica quais jogos rodam sem necessidade de configuração.
