It's sturdy and it holds a bunch of heavy bumper plates. The only thing I was a little disappointed by is that the clips aren't big enough to go on a barbell (I was hoping to use them on my curling bar). They're fine for their intended purpose though, since the plate holders have a slightly smaller diameter than the olympic bar.

I was actually looking for one of these that was a tad bit shorter since I wanted to use it to store my smaller weights and fractional plates, since I access these often, having the shorter length, and slightly thinner tube, actually makes them easier to get on and off. So this worked good for that. But if you want to use it for heavier weights, I think the ones that tilt up slightly are better. This one kind of goes out 90° from the bar. You can see that compared to the other one I have below which tilts up slightly in my photo. But this one does seem strong enough to hold a lot of weight if needed.The clips that come with it might as well not be included in my opinion because I don't use them. And although they fit this weight rack bar fine, they are slightly too small to use on barbells. But since I didn't buy this for those clips, I don't deduct any points from the rating for them being somewhat unnecessary. I guess in theory you might use them if you had weights stacked all the way to the end and you were shaking your machine and worried they would come off but that's not the case for me.

These do their job and hold your plates to your rack. Not commercial quality, but the rack isn’t commercial either. Unfortunately, the end caps came in cracked and ugly. Not a big deal, but you should get what you pay for which is a great in tact product. Ideally I would exchange them for another set, but who knows when they will be back in stock again.

I was looking for a way to weigh down my power rack, and these gave me exactly what I needed. Great plate holders.

Items were just as shown in the picture. Easy to install and remove. I have ordered a second set to have enough room for all my weights.

I've had the rack for 2+ years and didn't realize Fitness Reality had plate storage holders. these are so simple to install and help keep your weight plates off the ground plus add stability to the rack. win win!
