Absolutely love this product..with 4 cats always laying on my carpets and I have 1 cat that has a throwing up problem which usually ends up on my carpets but this help keeps carpets fresh smelling.

Pros: It does seem to have eliminated odors - especially an underlying musty smell I've been trying to get rid of for months. To me, it doesn't smell like it is on top of some other smell, and spring is when I get the worst of it. I can deal with the scent... It is a sweet and floral scent that hasn't set off my allergies, but it is strong, so if you are sensitive to scents, I strongly recommend you spray a fabric square or something to make sure you can tolerate this one. It dried really quickly and hasn't left a residue. (I actually vacuumed up pet fur and then applied it. I didn't need to vacuum again.) Finally, the colors didn't run or bleach or seem at all affected by it. Cons: The spray top was horrible on the first (and only so far) can I used. I had to constantly shake it and change the angle of the can and it still alternated between a stream and a mist and what looked like pea-sized foam drops. I grabbed and old loofa and spread it in where I needed to. Area with clumps did take longer to dry. As some others said, I'm going to take the top off of a good one once I get a good applicator top. Also, it's kind of pricy... Worth it for me because my next stop was a professional cleaner, but it was still too expensive to be a weekly refresher for me... And because of the terrible top, I'm sure I used at least twice what I should have needed to.

I spilled a beverage made of raw eggs and milk on a carpet and in spite of my efforts to wash the area a distinctly foul odor began to arise. The guy at the hardware store recommended this Carpet Fresh. You shake the can and spray it straight down. Then I took a damp sponge and messaged the stuff into the affected area. It has a pleasant odor of its own which disappeared completely as it dried along with the foul odor...and I do mean completely. Only once when a hint of the bad odor remained the next day, I made a second application of Carpet Fresh, and the problem was totally solved...a great product...!
