SIMONIZ Grey Plastic Primer Spray Paint for Plastic Surfaces, 500ml

I am revamping a 10 year old Little Tykes House. Prepare well. washed the sides to grt hud of dirt and grease, lightly sand. Shake can well for 2 minutes. Sprays on evenly and dries quickly. Brilliant result.

Simoniz grey plastic primer beats many brands of so called "modellers primer paint " for performance, size, price and spray pattern. So that's why I keep buying it.

A rattle can is much easier to use than a brush or even an airbrush. I used on a plastic scale model kit and it covered well. Beware though, it takes A LOT of shaking before use - at least 2 minutes - to ensure a smooth spray with no spatters. It sticks well with a single thin coat (this is not a 'leveling' primer so stays as a thin coat) and then takes acrylic paint well. Its not massively robust so can be scratched off quite easily but that was expected to be honest. Quite a lot of paint for the price so happy on the whole - apart from the shaking and tired arm.

I cant get to anyone to speak to so I guess I'll have to write review instead. The product is really good. Can't complain about that. The trouble is the paint arrived with no spray head so that could be a problem for some people. Luckily, i had another can of paint that its nozzle fitted so i could use the paint.

Very good option for miniatures! Price to quality is unmatched, would like to see more colours, but maybe I missed out!

Probably the best primer I have used on Miniatures without going for hobby brand stuff. The paint quality is great and works extremely well. If not sprayed outside make sure the room is well vented as the smell isn't unpleasant but the chemicals can be harmful if not used properly. Can is a perfect size, easy to apply and the thickness of the paint is great for keeping small details on miniatures visible and leaves a smooth matt finish.

Got this to prime miniatures and 3D printed models as I was not happy with coverage of acrylic primer using an airbrush. Coverage with this spray can primer is really good, mostly resin models but very even and dried very fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cost effective primer. Great product 👍

Produit fin de bonne qualité, vivement recommandé même pour les kits plastiques, utilisation directe de la bombe pour les grands modèles ou extrait et remis dans l'aéro pour plus de finesse sur petits modèles. Economique! bref une bonne alternative à tous ces produits "dédiés" maquette et horriblement chers!
