Touch of Grey, Black Hair Dye for a Natural Salt & Pepper Look, T55

Never used hair dye in my life and looking at the nightmare scenario of my wife dyeing her hair once a month I never felt inclined to. Over a period of time my hair has gone silver grey right around the edges and fringe with a mixture of flecks of grey amongst the darker hair that I have left, because of this large band of grey around the edges which looks nuts I decided to tone it down a bit and after much pondering I decided to give touch of grey a try.........I use very little of this and use it on the brightest band of grey and the results are brilliant...up to now I have used it three times and it tones down lots of grey but it leaves the sides more or less the same, it takes less than a minute to comb in and after five minutes I shampoo it off and the results are great.....my mates haven't a clue I am using anything which is a great plus and I look quite a bit younger now... anyone looking to just tone down the grey will not be disappointed....

Easy, quick and gives a good colour which looks natural and not uniform darkening the dark hairs and maintaining just the right amount of grey.

Not as effective as it used to be, same as some other reviews. Touch of Grey may have changed the ingredients or simply old stock as many places seemed to have discontinued it. Arrived quickly with Amazon. Don't need Amazon Prime but it gets pushed at the customer too much.

Having read other reviews about how 'subtle' this is I decided to use it for a while without telling my wife or anyone else for that matter. My hair short but greying around the sides/ ears. It is indeed a subtle change, it takes out some grey but leaves any hair that wasn't grey untouched. If you want to get rid of more grey, repeat every few days until it's how you want it. I used it over a few weeks until there was almost no grey left and no one had noticed it slowly disappearing. There is a lot in the tube, and unless you have loads of hair you will not use it all. It says in the instructions to discard any remaining after first use as it 'oxidises' and no longer works. I think this might be a ploy to sell more - I get at least 4-6 uses out of a tube over a period of say 6- 8 weeks and can't see any difference between first and last use. Brilliant product and amazing value if used sensibly!

Didn’t change the colour of my moustache at all! That’s with an added 10 mins development time on top! Do not waste your money, awful product

I’ve used this Just for Men Touch of Grey for a few years now, and it’s my favourite hair dye for men. It gives a natural blended salt ‘n pepper look, that lasts for weeks. I use it after I’ve had a haircut, and do it again after my next cut. I have short hair, so this tube lasts for months making it excellent value. When I’ve squeezed a bit of the dye out of the tube, I then squeeze out all the air and screw the cap back on. Great value, hope they never change it !

Good product that comb in, and wait 5 mins before washing it out... simple. Covers very well (mine med brown) and dampens down grey sides and hair line well. After about 3 weeks it is very very slightly coppery where the grey was but not to the extent that people would notice. When hair is cut again, get home and apply again as new shoots of grey are visible again! Unused dye can be applied again but I find it's not as effective so always now ensure a new box is to hand. Knocks spots off Just for Men which is too rich coloured and tends to go a noticeable ginger after a week or so.

I bought this product a lot off times. It USED to be a good product. last three times I used it, the color it gave my hair isn't grey but brown.! I will try an other brand now.
