We have had many electric kettles over the years, and they all eventually stop working--some within a relatively short time (less than a year.) Through my many purchases, I have learned what features are important to me, and this kettle has them all: top opening large enough to get my hands in to clean, not glass, which shows water marks from mineral residue, but has some kind of window that allows you to see the water level, not too many fancy features (i.e. keep warm--which never works, or colored lights which break quickly, etc.), and a temp gauge so you know how close it is to boiling. This pot has it all. And as a bonus, I like the color (I got the cream/beige) and I think it's stylish. Can't speak to its longevity, but if it lasts at least a year, I'll likely go back for another one.

So far I love this kettle. My old one was in pretty bad shape and looked even worse, so when I saw this cool looking orange one I decided to bite. It's very quiet which is good and bad as with ADHD, I miss the loud clack my old one made when it was done boiling reminding me to pour my tea so that I can brew it and drink it cold later instead of not at all after forgetting to pour it in the first place... however it boils fast and the thermometer on the side is a fantastic touch. I was expecting a very vivid orange, but it leans more towards a copper/rust tone. It's not bad and works in my space, just not what I'd expected from the photos.

Love the look, heats up fast. Love the temperature gauge on the front because I don't always want my water to be boiling so I can turn it off at a certain temperature. Auto shut off feature is also great.

Looks great, six months in and it's already broken. The internal switch has small brittle plastic that breaks easily from simple routine use, and the connection between the kettle and the electrical piece has a gap where corrosion builds up quickly. Not a recommended buy

I was expecting a somewhat greener colored kettle; this one is more of an aqua. It's still very cute, and boils water quickly. It's a little noisier than some kettles, but overall it's not unbearable. Boiling water is going to make noise! I've had this kettle for about a week, and it does the job nicely. The lid pops off and on, and the opening is a nice size for sticking one's whole hand in to scrub the water deposits out. All in all, this is a nice kettle, looks pretty on the counter, works the way it's supposed to, and I can recommend it.

This kettle matches my “vanilla” aesthetic at home really well - I was leery about it being more of a nude or brownish beige, however it’s the perfect cream. But beyond coloring, it works great. I’ve never had a kettle with a thermometer and I enjoy seeing at what point the water is from boiling. I love the retro design without it being gaudy. The outside of the kettle does get severely hot along with the water just as a stove kettle would. That doesn’t bother me, but something to be aware of if you’re worried about it near kids. The electric feature works great though, only way it could be better is if it were cordless.

Have it for 3 years and I love it. Stylish and works great. Happy with it!
