Works as advertised! Had it professionally installed.

Easy to install, fitting in engine compartment, grille, or bull bar comfortably. Wiring process is simple, and included directions are clear. I've used this product mounted on a push bar in the grille area - loud and clear at 1/2mi with moderate traffic. Operates on 12v and has been proven in all weather conditions. A very versatile product! One thing to avoid is placement of the sound module (not the speaker) in the engine compartment. The heat has an impact. Mount the speaker anywhere, but keep the sound module in the cabin.

When I installed this horn I lived in Florida. There the horn worked great!!! Now I live in Pennsylvania. When the temperature gets to 30 degrees or colder, the horn does not work. The horn will not work again until after the truck has had the heat on for about 45 minutes. The amplifier box is mounted inside the cab so one would think it would work fine but it doesn't. I was really happy with the horn until I moved here. In PA your required to have a working horn to pass inspection so this is a issue I need to get resolved.

My old horn sounded like a small dog barking trying to scare a intruder...not very effective...now this I'm pretty sure I gave an old lady a heart attack in a walmart parking lot (she was cutting through all the parking spots and didn't see the BRIGHT silver car) this stopped her dead in her tracks. On the road, highway included...people look. I drive a Subaru, you don't expect that loud of a sound first off from my car, let alone what EMS/Police normally only have. My neighbor (who is a police officer) gets a kick out of it, this (100w) is actually very close to his loudness wise and sound dead on. It's legal in my state (Ohio) so just pay attention. I could see CA or NY saying no.

so far so good. had professionally installed (dual horn with switch between stock horn and this horn) sometimes this horn has to be triggered/held down for longer to produce a sound the first few times after startup.

Purchasing this for a second install and glad to have a chance to review it. Very good unit that has served well for years (the other install) and it's compact enough to fit a very tight install this time too. Extremely pleased with this.

Horn sounded great when I first installed it. Now it only works when it wants to. I replaced the momentary switch, thinking that was the problem. Nope, it’s the amp box. The red light on the box now pulsates when I turn on the momentary switch, making the horn sound like a dying cat. B

I like it, not quite as loud as I would like but still very loud and would definitely get someone’s attention. Easy to install without relays if you don’t hook it to your existing horn button

very solid unit. nice and loud.

Purchased in July, no longer works. Keeps making clicking sound. AMP completely dead. No customer service to contact to even replace this. Extremely disappointed.
