Mira thermal cut out switch replacement
This item works on the Mira Decor 10.8kw shower with the Green thermal cut out switch (see photo). Fitted within minutes (3 screws to remove), saving me hundreds of pounds in call out fees.

it didn't fit the mira vie, the fixings need to be at a different angle

Worked with Triton Enrich 9.5kw
It worked with Triton Enrich 9.5kw. A bit fiddly to secure one the connector close to the wall, original has bent angle for easy access. Tip: before doing any electrical job please isolate it. do not secure it down first if you are fitting it to the triton enrich 9.5kw . Do the far end connector ( by the wall first ) then secure it down by the screw provided and finally the outer connector. I tested the continuity by multimeter first in case I don’t have faulty one. All good happy with it.

Not compatible with mira sport
Easy and quick delivery but it is not compatible with mira sport 9.8 kW Screwing part has to be position to 11-5 by clock wise .I returning it .

Saved me over £250
My electric shower started running cold. I thought the heater had gone. Did some Googling and they suggested in was the TC (Themral Cut-off). This small part was relatively straightforward to fit.I am not an electrician, I found a useful DIY video and followed it to the letter and voilà. Problem solved and the potentially saved the cost of a new shower plus fitting£ 250+
