Updated review
** I have been meaning to update my review. We discovered the mice did not disappear and they were not eating this product. We had put peanut butter on it and they were taking the pellets and eating the peanut butter off it but leaving the pellet behind. Did not work. Had to buy traps and caught 4 mice We had mice and set up numerous traps but did not catch one mouse! Read the reviews for this product and decided to give it a try. 6 days later and I have not seen one mouse!!! Buy this product. I was starting to feel invaded by mice in my home. This saved us!

Works For Rats & Mice
I put some out 3 nights ago and last night I was able to sleep in a quiet room. No more squeeking and the sounds of mice running around, chewing on things and keeping me awake. Saw a video on YouTube and I figured if it kills rats it will kill mice. I put a steel scouring pad in the hole they chewed and covered the hole with plaster. I'll probably give the rest to my mom to use for the rodents in the garage. Smells a bit nuttylike peanut butter to me, not bad. Glue traps caught 2 then nothing, I set 6 snap traps nothing, they weren't falling for either. This is the only thing that worked, food, corn gluten.

Don't Waste Your Money on This. My Mice Were PIcky Eaters and Didn't Eat It!
This did not work when used as directed because the mice wouldn't even eat it. I had been overrun with mice at my previous residence and I like to try to keep the stray cats, wildlife and other things that feed on mice safe from secondary poisoning. I got this stuff because I had heard a lot of good things about it from friends and at $20 it was worth it to try to get my problem under control once and for all. Well, these same mice who were not discerning in the least and would eat bars of soap, repellent sachets, trash, and even chew on chicken bones in the middle of the night would not touch this stuff for love nor money. It's almost like they knew it had something in it that would dry them up and dehydrate them. I even tried mixing it with peanut butter and they just ate around it and left the pellets. I ended up spending ten more dollars at the local feed store and bought the green blocks that actually poisoned them to death. I had no mice within three days on the competitor product and I hoped like the dickens that I didn't find any dead owls, hawks, my friendly little garden snakes, or stray cats from eating mice who had eaten the poison. It's a great idea in theory but my suggestion would be to make these in some kind of a flavor that will actually entice the mice. For some reason, as I said, I had to go with an actual poison product that actually was infused with something to attract them and make them eat it. This just did not do the job, and I am sorry about that.

Unsure of effectiveness, mice did eat some though
Unsure of the effectiveness. Mice did eat some though and I believe I saw less mice. The major downside is that these pellets cannot get wet. If they do, they will disintegrate. So outside use, you will need to use a waterproof bait box. They don't have much of a smell, you may want to rub some peanut butter on them to attract the mice. I believe the bag I got was old because it seemed slightly discolored so that may have affected my experience. I got these so that they would be safe around, children, chickens and wildlife.

Unsure
I put this stuff in my pantry and under the dresser where I know the mouse has been. Everything night for 2 weeks I would hear the mouse outside coming up the wall and would hear it throughout the night. After 2 weeks of this stuff not seeming to work, I put some into a coffee filter and got a tiny bit of peanut butter and lightly coated each pellet. I balled up the filter and set it outside around where I know the mouse is coming in. After a few nights I stopped hearing the mouse outside coming in or in my house. I live in an old trailer home so I wasn't able to plug up the area where the mouse was coming in. I do have a stray cat that lives under there so I don't know if he got the mouse or the pellets killed him.

Works well
I found evidence of a mouse in my house. I coated these with PB powder and put them in a few locations around my house and basement about 2 months ago. The snap traps I got killed the mouse before the poison but I just left the poison there figuring it wouldn’t hurt. A few days ago I saw the pellets were going missing and little pieces of crumbs left around my baseboards so I figured we had another unwanted visitor. 4 days after I noticed the pellets were being eaten I asked my boyfriend the check around for evidence (I’m terrified) he saw a barely alive mouse in the corner of the kitchen under the baseboard. The mouse died within minutes of finding it. I had 2 traps set too but the poison won. It took about 4 days for it to slowly kill the mouse but it worked. I put more out with traps Incase its friends decide to come out to play.

Possible ways to make this work
I bought this years ago and it did seem to work somewhat because I found dried up mouse bodies. Then they stopped eating the pellets. I put them in a dish with cornmeal and after several days they ate the cornmeal, but not the pellets. Today I ground up some pellets in a coffee grinder and put it in my cats friskies which the mice like in areas they can reach, but not my cats. I will also grind some pellets into a powder and put the in cornmeal and see how that works out. Baking soda mixed with cornmeal kills them but then you deal with the smell of decomposing little bodies. Peanut butter mixed with the pellets did not work for me, but I may try the powdered pellets again. I don't intend to use the coffee grinder for anything else other than mousex. I will also get an exterminator to seal up the outside entrances. We have an outbreak of rodents because of construction in the area. The health Dept wants to fine people who feed birds which will do nothing to alleviate the issue. They need to pass an ordinance to putt up ways to contain mice instead of disrupting their habitats causing them to move to private homes. Update: the mice no longer eat the pellets so I am removing 2 stars. They learned to avoid it no matter hoe I try to entice them.

Had high hours but rats uninterested in it
I had hoped that this would be a better alternative to poison but having seen bit rats, And mice, ignore it I am disappointed. I followed the instructions and made sure no other food source was around but the rats simply sniffed and turned it’s nose up(that’s what the rat is doing in the picture!). I feel I’ve wasted s as lot of money for something that has so far done nothing. Back to poison I fear. Company comments?

Didn't work.
Used as directed and the mouse/mice have eaten some of it but sadly it hasn't work. Expensive for a small bag of what seem to be a mouse snack, very disappointing. I really hoped this would work as used humane traps before this with success.
