how long does one last? Or how many uses and washes?

In description states durable nylon and polyester fabric, by experience they last anywhere about 1year. Assure to rinse well all dirt&soap before hanging to dry. These clothes stay cleaner&fresher than cotton washcloths. They can last about1year with daily shower use bathing. Afterwards when they have snags due to getting caught in jewelry, they make great tub cleaning sponges since wont scratch surfaces, cleans/rinses & drys well. Washcloths may last long i guess but they get stinky depending on bathroom air circulation, water removal&drying process, etc. If i had to choose i rather get these then washclothes,more hygienic since clean&dry alot faster. I wouldn't use on any children but great for adults. If rough is a problem,let it soak in hot soapy water with shower gel overnight. Has soften mines in the past& they do soften up with use. Hope this helps. Before these, i got mines from target about $4.00 for 1towel long enough to wash my back only problem always had low stock&rarely in store.

Are these comparable to Salux washcloths?

Their comparable to Sutera. I like them, they lather up nicely.

Can this be used on the face

I use it on my face daily. When new, use it gently. After it softens, use it normally.
