If the straw is out and tilted will it spill or only come out with suction?

It will allow liquid already inside the straw out of the spout.

Comments are saying that these are single insulated but the description says they are double wall insulated. Just wondering which is correct.

These are double wall insulated, there is no such thing as single wall insulated, if it is single wall it is simply not insulated.

Is this product good to use?

My grandkids have all used these and they are great .

Does the straw have a bite valve so the bottle doesn't leak if it's turned upside down while open?

It does not have a bite valve. Liquid can come out spout if open and upside down.
