CTG-00-GS Garlic Slicer and Grater, Green

Cuisinart has exceeded expectations with this well-designed product. While I originally purchased for its grater function, it quickly proved to be far more versatile. The design effectively protects my fingers when working with small garlic bulbs, eliminating the common issue of accidental scrapes. This tool is definitely a valuable addition to any kitchen - combining safety, functionality, and quality craftsmanship.

Was kinda skeptical about this but it’s a great gadget to add to your kitchen. I use it almost every day. Works great and easy to clean. Definitely saves you time in the kitchen.

Not bad. A little hard to clean the grater part, but I like how useful having the slicer and grater in one tool.

So convenient to use, wash and store. Love this tool! It's the perfect hand size to use for the smaller items; garlic, shallots, radishes etc.

I bought this because it is a 2 in 1. Admittedly, I have yet to use the slicer portion however, I feel it would work just great and according to the other reviews it does. The grater however, is not the best. I purchased this one because it had the little holder which in turn would keep me from knicking my fingernails on the larger zesting plane. This does not live up to the ease. The garlic once it's gets to the last piece to grate it shoots from under the holder part and even when placed back in, it doesn't grate, so now I have wasted garlic. I don't mind scraping the garlic off the bottom but it's not as smooth as just a regular garlic press. I use garlic almost daily so I have purchased every garlic gadget on the market. I just want something that will grate my garlic with ease without having to spend a bunch of money!

this is an awesome tool. It’s great for slicing or mincing garlic and ginger. Maybe even small shallots. I’m sure other things as well. It’s much easier to clean up than a traditional garlic press. I was looking for a ginger slicer for a long time and so glad I found this. It has so many uses in my kitchen.

The item is as described. Here in lies the problem. The loader skips off track whick could cause you to slice your finger,plus if you load it full it barely slices the garlic. The shredder works ok yet while the loader skips the track it could again cause you to slice your finger on the blade. It feels very cheap and when pressure is applied the unit feels weak and could break. Ive worked in kitchens for over 30 years and have seen these things die or not work. Spend a few extra bucks on a better model. Got this after another i had for years at home finally died. Shouldve spend the few extras buck like the ones i got for the resturant 🤷🏻‍♂️

Love it! Easy to use and clean. Perfect results. Recommend for any chef. In fact I ordered one for my dil.

It's used allot in my kitchen. Works as expected, and easy to clean. I love how thin it slices garlic.

Cheap Chinese quality.

This product is so awesome!!! Slick with cutting! Gets the entire radish no waste! Thin slices great for my salads! WOW!!!!

Worked great the first couple of uses but now the sliding part slides off. Maybe from being washed in the dishwasher? I’d recommend hand washing if it’s not already recommended on here. I think the heat from the dishwasher ruins the hard plastic and deforms it.

I love adding garlic to dishes, and this works great for grading or slicing garlic without worrying about my fingers. I used to use a micro blade greater and found that I was wasting half the garlic cause it was getting too close to my fingers and my fingers were smelling of garlic. This deals with both issues. Love it!
