Paracord is my lifesaver…literally.
Paracord in the South African army back in the 1980’s was like gold dust. Extremely hard to get and a most valuable commodity when we did. We were extremely inventive in its application as survival aid. I’m poor, ex military and disabled which means I need to be extremely resourceful to survive. Since I wasn’t provided with a simple walking aid I made my own with Paracord and a Dutch hoe. Both items bought and wonderfully supplied by Amazon. The value, strength, and versatility of Paracord is unsurpassed. It’s turned a simple Dutch hoe into my bespoke walking staff. When my hand fails to support me due to my neuropathy the Paracord easily supports my full body weight and saves me from injury.

Great Quality 550paracord
Excellent quality cord and really sensibly priced too. Normally use Atwood Rope US 550paracord and this is easily comparable.

Not great
This is not 4mm. The cord has no substance. Identical made leads in picture. green one is a good 25 percent bigger.

This cord is strong, durable and does not stretch. We use the green color that blends in well while supporting our plants.

I like it looks sturdy and strong but noticed that if you pull hard the red string it separate from the inside string. Not sure if I’m doing something wrong

No complaints. Love the color choices. Great for securing stuff or crafting lanyards, etc. I always keep 100 ft or so in my "go bag" just in case.

Glows great. However is polyester not nylon so will not join with nylon cords. Not the surprise I was looking for.
