So I love coffee. I go to all types of coffee shops and I drink it through out the day. While I knew of death wish coffee, I had not heard of their blend Valhalla java. Since i was restocking my coffee while coming across it, I felt from the name I had to try it. The packaging is easy and keeps it fresh. How the cups are designed to ensure you are having fresh coffee do not use a k cup storing device with these. You will be sad with stale coffee. Now I do like how they designed their k cups, this allows the coffee to do a brewing similar to older/ more traditional style coffee makers that say the Keurig. You can smell the smooth rich blend when you open the bag, which is that nice delightful wake you up coffee scent. Now for the taste. I will honestly say I was excited to try this blend because the beans are grown on a side of a volcano. Every coffee I have had where their beans were grown on a volcano side I have loved. This is no different. It is smooth and easy on the stomach. This coffee is rich in flavor but doesn't have any bitter after taste. While I use cream and sugar in my coffee, I don't need a lot with this coffee, and those things added just enhance it. Too much cream and sugar would diminish the wonderful flavor. I am definitely adding this coffee to my regular purchases. Because everyone is different when it comes to coffee I will say this. This is a strong brew and you can tell when you drink it, but it is not harsh like some bold/strong brew coffee out there. If you prefer weak coffees this may be too strong for you. If you have stomach acid reflux or a sensitive stomach you with enjoy the smoothness of this coffee, and unless you have a severe case it shouldn't bother your stomach.

So, to say I LOVE COFFEE is putting it mildly. A good chunk of my genetics is Swedish, and have you read the Millenium trilogy? The first book in particular, coffee is mentioned at least 10 times a chapter. Add a farm upbringing on top of that (Dad drank 4 pots a day - while in the fields - in July - in an open cab tractor, not one of those wussy air conditioned ones), plus college and law school, I think I may now be more coffee than Swedish. I would pour coffee on pancakes if I could (and I occasionally make it strong enough, I really could). So obviously, Valhalla Java? I had to try. Unfortunately, I am currently limited to a Keurig, and while it does the job, I rarely fine a K-Cup that totally embodies all the darkness and power I love about a good cup of life force ... er, coffee. Until now. I brewed two cups using as little water as my machine would allow, poured 'em in a to-go mug, put some creamer in it (heretical, I know, but it was a rough day yesterday), and on that first sip, knew I'd found love. I cannot adequately describe the taste and consistency. For something so beautiful and powerful to be so smooth and rich, without that acidic aftertaste you so often get with a strong brew ... I was blown away. I just purchased a bag of whole beans to give to my sister and brother-in-law, whose coffee has been known to overpower small political factions. I will sit back and wait to see what new glories they can accomplish with Valhalla Java. And take appropriate credit, of course. I think I'll start printing the "glorious benefactor" nameplates now.

So the coffee is great. Love the flavor. The seal on the pods isn't great. I've had three blow outs out of 10 pods.

I'm not a big fan of dark roast because I appreciate the extra caffeine and smoothness of lighter roasts, but it's Death Wish. I just really enjoyed it no end. It really is a lovely coffee!

This coffee is better than the time I high fived Taylor Swift at a Garth Brooks concert, with a chair, in the face. However, this coffee does taste great and as an avid beer and coffee drinker I do know good taste when I..Taste it. This coffee has made such an improvement on my life after just the first sip. I woke up that morning after receiving my coffee and I brewed it right away before I even had clothes on, trust me it was a surprise for both me and the UPS lady. Moving on, after brewing the Valhalla Java juice of the Nordic Gods, I poured it into my favorite pint, of vanilla porter. I couldn't believe it tasted so good I made three more pints! My day at work was such an improvement! For starters I never had so much fun driving to work. My boss said he had never seen me so outgoing and approachable but After being told to go home because I was supposedly "drunk" before 8:30 a.m. ,Drunk with delicious coffee, I drove to Bass pro shops and I swear too you I caught the biggest catfish....That I had ever caught in Bass pro shops. When I got home I made love to my sweet wife for almost 3 minutes, drank 4 for more Valhalla coffee and porters and passed out in the shag carpet..Slept like a baby for the first time in years. So in general this coffee has helped me promote a better attitude, given me new opportunities for employment, increased my sex life and improved my fishing game! If you have any problems in these areas I strongly suggest you try this coffee..Get your Viking on with Valhalla Java..And a Porter!

So I decided to try this for the days I don't feel like the mega dose of caffeine death wish gives. It's not a cheap product so if you are after any old swill that will save you money, this isnt for you. Now if you want something that is flavorful with a kick, you found the right coffee. I drink my coffee black, this isnt bitter at all. It manages to be full without tasting burned. Will purchase again.

This is a rich and strong coffee, perfect for my mornings when I need a good wake-up. I'd buy this again. although I'll use it sparingly, as it's personally a bit on the expensive side for my pocket. :)

Best coffee I’ve ever had. Very strong and sweet.

Fantastic coffee! Great flavour. Strong without being bitter. The only downfall is that it's roughly triple what I would normally spend so it's what I brew when I only have time for one cup in the morning.

If you havent tried this coffee you might want to hold out on buying so many but if you have tried it then you know that ita great coffee. With that said everybody is different but this is hands down my favorite coffee. Also found the delivey was quick
