desertcart.com : SugarFlair Spectral Concentrated Edible Paste Food Colouring - Pink : Grocery & Gourmet Food Review: Perfetto Review: 1st use, I had a very deep pink coloured cake using what I thought was a little bit of colouring. Super concentrated so will last a long time, making it good value. This paste is easier to control than liquid. Would buy again.

This is the first time I used a paste colour. It is perfect and gave me the exact colour I wanted. I had read the raving reviews of Sugarflair Colours and wasn't disappointed. I also took the tips of previous posters and used the colour with the tip of a toothpick and kept doing it carefully until I got the right colour after about doing that 5 times. That hardly equalled half a drop! Lovely.

I have always loved using paste colouring for baking and icing, since you can use the end of a toothpick and add sparingly and still get a very bold colour. The paste arrived in very good time well protected in bubble wrap, and has already seen a lot of use in cakes, marshmallows and cookies. The benefit of the paste is that if you want a really bold colour, or very solid colour, you can achieve this with a smaller amount than the liquid colourings, and there is no risk of whatever you are putting it into to become sludgy or too liquid-y (as I have often found happens with buttercream icing!)
