Oh how my 8 year old boy has eaten this right up. I love it because it has made him very excited to read. I love it because that mischievous sparkle in his eye makes me smile. I love it because they're pretty harmless pranks, but he gets such a kick out of them. He loves being tricky and getting the best of his parents and siblings. Well worth the money.

I bought this book for my 9 year old brother for Christmas. He absolutely loved it. I made sure that I read about all of the pranks before I gave it to him. I didn't want him getting into trouble with our mother. This book is full of harmless fun. The pranks aren't cruel, and they do not promote bullying. The author explains how pranks work and how to apologize if someone gets upset after being planked. The book comes with lots of fun ideas and props. There are signs, letters, coupons, and menus. We tried one of the pranks on our father the very night that my brother got the book. We did the prank where a banana is thread where it looks normal, but when he peeled the banana it was already sliced. He totally fell for it. This is a great innocent, fun book. If you're buying as a gift, then I do suggest to look at the pranks and get a few of the items needed to go with the book.

Want to know why I am giving this 5 stars? Because it has kept my 10 year old busy now since his birthday weeks ago! I got this as an add-on bday gift for him b/c he's been into pranks, and since these were 'not mean' I decided it was safe. Just yesterday I turned on my faucet in the bathroom and water kind of leaked out from all angels b/c he and my other son had taped a dime into the faucet spout where the water comes out. Now, maybe some of you would think this isn't funny, but I did as I could hear them both howling with laughter in the other room while I jumped back after the water came out! I have told my son that he has to be careful not to do anything to shock grandma or grandpa or a teacher, etc.. but It's good old fashioned fun when he pulls the pranks on friends or on us parents, and we have to let kids just enjoy these small little wins.

I bought this for my 8 year old son. He loved it and was able to do many of the pranks by himself. This complete book kept him occupied thinking and planning his jokes for ages. My favorite was the "poo" he made f I'm chocoltE spread and peanut butter, so realistic and together we endlessley trick his older brother and sister by displaying a screenshot of their desktop so the screen is frozen. The tricks aren't mean, just funny and this will appeal to kids (and adults) sense of humor.

These require a bit of set up for a 10yr old. This would be great for someone who enjoys reading directions. The pranks are not difficult but do need prep & guidance to follow through. My son said it felt more like work than play.

Lobe it- my son got this as a gift for his friend. They both spent hours reading it together. In a day of ipods and electronics where it is sometimes hard to get kids off the couch this book is great and allows them to have fun playing tricks while not hurting anyone. it does however give good advice for some of the tricks that are super annoying should only be played on someone that will also think it is funny. A great book

We bought this book for my son for Christmas. He loves pranks and this one has some real gems, including printed cut out pages that look like formal letters or notices etc. The pranks are appropriate for children.

Bought as a gift. Good condition. Hope the recipient likes it.

My 8-year old grandson loved this book. We prank each other all the time so it has had plenty of use!
