The Best of Rudyard Kipling: A Collection of Essential Poetry

Great purchase.

Rudyardd hymn to US imperialism is a breath of fresh air. You think he won’t but he does “go mark them with your dead” it reminds me of the movie V for vendetta where a new government arrived on the precedent of punishing the masses. It is like the phrase “a white devil in a black city” or “a black devil in a white city”! Further more not to forget to mention George w bush and the great influence on him by Kipling and Orwell among others. The former president is a hogwash of war successes.

I am a fan of this author and I like this light weight edition, that is easy to carry with you. It has already made its way on many hunting, hiking, and camping trips without making any difference in the weight of my pack. I only give 4 stars because I was a bit surprised by the narrow selection of the book.

Value for money. Kipling is excellent. This is an inexpensive but, good collection.

Great poems, but this is a much higher price than is justifiable for a 60-page paperback collection of public domain poetry.

Kipling is great ofcourse. It’s a shame this book is shipped without the proper care.
