great product, love the design! both sides were very spacious and came with one roll of trash bags as well! comes with detachable bin inside so easy to empty out the trash can!

It’s a decently sized trash bin and big enough for my bi-weekly time to fill up the trash (one person) and recycle part (weekly). The only issue is when I first used it, it took about 2-3 weeks until the left side stopped getting stuck when I opened it. And it would also kind of quickly open because it was stuck a little, however, after those first few weeks, I didn’t have any of those issues anymore so it seems it needs of a bit of a “breaking in” period. I’d still buy again.

Our son had bought a smaller version of this and we used it when we were staying at his home. When we got back to ours, we immediately ordered the larger size and it is working excellently for us. It works very efficiently and, after accidentally spilling some soup in the "recycle" side, it was very easy to clean. Great product.

I did a lot of research and decided to buy this product as I wanted to have a dual trash that will save space in our kitchen. We did get a lot of compliments but after only 3 months the lid broke. It was normal wear and tear - just one day the piece that attached to the lid came off? We have the pieces but unsure how to fix it. I reached out to the seller who kindly responded to reach out to Amazon - but still having trouble in finding ways to replace parts to fix it. We loved it while it was functional and was hoping it would last at least a year before breaking. Hoping by writing this review at least another consumer can let us know if they found a way to fix this problem, b/c still would love to use it. Buy with caution.

Removed it from the box, set it in my kitchen, pressed down on the foot petal and SNAP! I lowered it onto its side and found the plastic piece that holds the bar connecting the foot petal to the lid had snapped off. The foot petal no longer works and the lid no longer opens and closes. I'm conflicted on whether or not to reorder the same trash can again (this one is being returned). While I like the size and design of it, I can't imagine it will hold up well to daily use if it broke so easily. Keep in mind, because of the design, the lid can't easily be opened by hand. The trashcan is useless without being able to use the petal.

It took me sometime to select this dual can system for my trash needs. I know, that sounds like I'm picky. I just knew what I needed was a simple and efficient way to manage my waste, separated by true garbage and recyclables. A simple foot activated solution, lids that pop up and gently come back down, and all encased in one unit. This does that. Plus, one extra unexpected bonus that I think is pretty smart: in each of the removable internal trash cans there is a hole in which you can shove in the excess width of your trash bag so that as you drop the interior can into its place, the bag holds correctly.

I was hesitant to spend this kind of money on a trash can,but it is exactly what i was looking for. It is sturdy, easy to take the bags out, and looks great with all of our other stainless steal. I also love that even with a trash bag in each compartment, you can tell which is trash and which is recycle. Highly recommend.

Yes, I knew what I was paying. But I wanted the biggest containers I could get for this type of dual can, so I can still say it's too pricey even though I chose to pay for it. I kept my fingers crossed it didn't come dented as may reviewers experienced. No major dents but it does have numerous little small dents along the top front edge right under the black plastic part. Fingerprint resistant my behind------it's not the slightest bit resistant to fingerprints. And I actually don't like the way the lids close flatly to the container. I do not like to use the foot pedals because sooner or later, foot pedals all break. It's a fact of life with garbage cans. So I prefer to lift the lids. You can't really easily do that with these unless you dig your nail underneath the lid. It looks nice and it's a great idea. But know that the containers inside do not hold much-----they are 8 gallon when your typical kitchen trash bags are 13 gallon. And no, there is no such thing as a trash bag made to fit this. If you get 8 gallon ones, they will only reach about halfway to the bottom. So you have to use 13 gallon and end up wasting 5 gallons of bag every time. There are many different options and brands in this dual can idea. Some come with different sized containers on each side, there are even 3 container ones. I looked for one that I liked the look of and had the larger containers. It just all depends on what you want. Just know that NONE of them are going to hold what a typical kitchen trash can holds.

Tal pareciera que en México nos mandan los golpeados que rechazan de USA. Como necesitaba el bote YA mismo preferi quedarme al ver que se trataba de un golpe minimo, y preferi quedarme con el producto a realizar todo el proceso de cambio. Arregle yo mismo las sumidas, que eran bastantes pero minusculas, con un kit de abolladuras de auto quedo como si nada.

compact enough without scrimping on bin size. Cleans up easily and the fit in my small kitchen is great! I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Worth the price.

Love this trash can. My only complaint would be ….wish this company made the waste bags as well
