Great Food Dish
I searched all of the local pet stores (PetSmart, Pet Supplies Plus, etc.) looking for one of these food dishes. I was glad to find this one online, but when I screwed a 2-liter bottle in the bowl water kept sloshing out all over. I tried a 20-oz. bottle with no luck either. Finally, I tried a 1.5 liter bottle which works perfectly. I also like that the food dish comes out.This way my dog won't run out of water, which is most important!

Who could ask for more?
Love it. Perfect for a small dog or cat. Could be bigger but the price is right. Attach any regular topped pop bottle and you got a nifty little auto water device complete with a food dish and one extra detachable dish for whatever use.

She hasn't ripped it apart yet so its served its purpose. The water bottle auto refill works like a charm.

A Bit Clumsy
The design of this bowl is innovative and seemingly practical. It keeps the cat's water bowl full, and also has a removable bowl for food. Unfortunately, I seem to knock the detachable bowl into the bottle when I am placing it in the unit. This causes water to go all over the place, as the bottle starts to refill the (now spilling) water bowl. I should not hold the product responsible for my clumsiness, but the design seems to promote such mishaps. But it's a decent product, and well made.
