Can the straw screw onto any water bottle?

The straw can only be screwed on bottle tops with a 28mm thread. We also recommend using it with a softer bottle or our canteens so that you can squeeze the water out.

Does this straw filter need to be used with a bottle?

You do not need a bottle or canteen in order to use this product. You can drink directly from any fresh water source.

How long does the filter last?

Our reusable straw filter can be used up to 100,000L / 26,417Gal.

What contaminants does the filter remove?

It is designed to remove 99.999% of tested Virus, Staph, Bacteria and Protozoa, as well as 89% Mercury and Lead.
