Originally designed in 1918 for the Pullman cars of American railroads, this vacuum jug has adorned the coffee tables of generations. Alfi remained true to the original form, minus a few subtle contemporary adaptations. The Juwel Carafe features the AlfiDur vacuum hard glass liner, a metal handle, and a hinged cover with stopper. The double-walled AlfiDur vacuum hard glass liner keeps hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold. Before assembly each glass liner undergoes an operational test.
