I got this to replace the Remington wet to straight that I got in 2012!! The other one did great for the 9 years I used it for. The old model had buttons instead of a dial like this, and that's the only reason it stopped working, so maybe this model will outlast the 9 years I had the old one for! I've used this one 3 times so far and it works great.

For a Remington and the price this straightener did its job! Nice silky shiny straight hair. I have to use a 450 degree tool and this one worked great on my hair. I was able to cut down my straightener Time by 10 min with the bigger head flat iron. It heated up very fast also.

Heats up fast light weight. Curls and straightens with ease though hair. Adjust heat and some steam if needed. Curls stay thank you

Bueno mi cabello es lizo naturalmente, peor definitivamente me gusta plancharlo para eliminar el fríz que pueda tener, esta plancha de cabello es muy buena en mi experiencia, calienta bastante, lo único que debes de tomar en cuenta que no puedes elegir la temperatura que desees ya que trae una temperatura específica, eso quiere decir que solo tiene interruptor de encendido y apagado, pero en mi experiencia está muy buena y no he sentido que dañe mi cabello, si queres una opción buena bonita y barata debes de elegir esta

This is the only straightener that works with my very thick and curly hair. I love that it works when my hair is wet too! I found this straightener about 3-4 years ago at Wal-Mart and it lasted that long. Only just recently did my last one stop working but sadly they don't sell them at Wal-Mart anymore. I'm glad I was able to find it here and it's definitely the best straightener I've ever had!

I purchased this a few years ago. It worked fine as a straightener alone but steaming off water on my damp hair caused noticeable damage, so I mostly used it on dry hair to smooth it out after blow drying.

I love that I can use this when my hair is a little damp! I've never used a flat iron that advertised this. Of course we have so tried our straightening irons on wet/ damp hair and we all know how that turned out. Burnt hair! Don't get me started on the smell. But this lil gem has been made for that purpose and it's a great idea.
