Analog TV or Digital TV? Any television bought after March 2007 probably has a built-in digital tuner, although a few TVs sold after that date do not. The digital TV tuner makes it possible for your television to receive and display a digital signal. If your TV is older analog TV without digital tuner, you can't use our antenna directly. A TV converter box(Set-top Box) is required so that your TV can read the digital signal from the TV tower, or your TV will get no signal and channel. Product List 1 x Digital TV Antenna with F Male Connector(Inlined Amplifier) 1 x F Female to PAL Male Adapter 1 x Double Sided Sticker 1 x Instructional Manual NOTE: ✔ Antenna signal strength can vary depending on distance from the tower, terrain, and weather. Reposition the antenna in a different location if needed. Always re-scan for channels after moving the antenna. ✔ If you are receiving bad signal or unclear picture quality , move it closer to a window or a higher place and try again. You can flexible position for the optimal signal reception by scanning TV channels, the higher you positioned, the better the reception. ✔ To find out what stations are in your area, visit www.antennaweb.org OR visit www.dtv.gov which gives you a reception map.

Good little antenna that outperforms much more expensive models
After buying numerous of the flat amplified antennas that didn't seem to work in my situation (live in the Hill Country west of Austin and installed a steel roof several years ago) I bought one of these to try it out by standing in near a window. I got not only the the four major networks out of Austin, but a total of 36 channels total including a couple of San Antonio channels which I verified the transmission towers were over 50 miles away. This may not be the best antenna on the market, but I figure it is the best one you can get for around $20.

Either this set or that set... but only these channels work
I liked the sleek design of this antennae. Living in an apartment where the wall option is Direct TV cable which I really don't need, I had to get my own antenna to access the local broadcast without paying a fortune for cable.I am on the ground floor with a nice view of the mountain benches from my massive window. So far I am not impressed with this. On long range, in one spot it picks up some of the available local channels and in another spot about 2 feet away it picks up others... and just because it detects them doesn't mean that it'll pick up any reception or broadcast, it's just a black screen...Not impressed at all... I'm considering returning this disappointment after working with it for four hours...-edit 2 days later-Out of spite, I moved my TV and the antenna to the opposite side of the room just to try an experiment. Same room, same window. The antenna picked up all channels it was before and thensome. Problem now is that I need a coaxial extension just to accommodate the antenna and a USB wall-charger for the amplifier cuz there is no way the TV can stay where I temporarily put it...The broadcasting tower is less than 20 miles North of my apartment. For some reason, the antenna works best in the Northeast most corner of my unit... I don't get it but I've ordered an extension cable...-edit-4 days later I have an extension coaxial cable. The antenna has issues picking up 5 out of 58 channels being broadcast and according to TVFool, those channels are broadcast from the West, so there's the whole rest of the complex blocking it since I have an East-facing window...I definitely recommend using TVFool first and with the info from it, decide if this antenna would work for you... if I had a West-facing window, this likely wouldn't be worth having...

Great OTA indoor antenna
This little thing works great. I recently cut the cord and purchased a more expensive mohu (or what ever it was) that sat in my bay window. This gets better reception sitting on my TV stand than the old one so well worth the money. I will be purchasing another unit for the bedroom to replace a very old rabbit eared RCA.

great antenna
was looking for a stand up antenna as I had nowhere to put the flat ones. This one is small enough to hide behind stack of dvd's, and also gives great reception compared to flat one which would go out if I walked by it or stood anywhere near tv.

Gets less channels than my old non-amplified antenna
I reviewed this antenna showing photos of the number of channels I received but Amazon kicked it for some reason I don't understand. The bottom line is I have an older flat window mounted antenna that is not amplified and it gets a lot more channels that this one.Save your money and just go with a window mounted antenna if you can.I normally get 79 channels but with this one in the same window I only received 70 channels. When it was on a table top I only got about 35 channels so, it's just not worth it.

Does not work
I live in a rural area but with at least two broadcast antennas within 54 miles broadcasting 8 plus channels. Tried two different TV's both with HD tuners, repositioned devise several times and ways using both short and long range amplifier. Several channel scans produced not one channel.

Great picture quality
Had one of those flat large window antennas before I bought this one. Love the size and how inconspicuous it is. Brings in the same amount of channels I had with other one. I am happy with my purchase.
