Best cup for toddler!
My son is obsessed with this cup. He won’t trade it for anything. Very strong and great quality too, he is very rough with it and throws it on the floor all the time but it never leaks. It’s also user friendly you don’t have to lift your head up to drink from it. Great quality product! Great for toddlers!!!!

Love this product! Worth every penny!
My daughter absolutely loves her potato cups! These cups are better than the traditional sippy cups, especially with the straw attachment. We went from bottle directly to the straw. The transition was effortless! No mess, no leaking of fluids and extremely easy for a baby/toddler to hold. It’s 10z but can hold about 11oz without leak. Cleaning the straw attachments isn’t hard, you’ll just need a straw brush. Dishwasher safe for the cup/handle/top with lid, we just don’t put the weighted straw nor the top straw attachment in there since they’re small pieces.

Worked for both of my children!
Both of my kids had the hardest time transitioning to a straw from a bottle and this is the only one that worked for both of them. Started them both out with the sippy cup style straw then the slimmer one. I recommend to everyone. As long as everything is positioned correctly it is leakproof. The weighted straw is a bit hard to clean and previously had to replace them a few times, but no issues with my recent purchase.

It really doesn’t leak!!!!
I was in search of a weighted straw cup for my 1 year old. In the past we used the Munchkin brand and for the life of me I can’t figure out why those have such high reviews. The Munchkin cups, when sitting on the counter will just start to push liquid up and out of the top of the straw so it’s eventually sitting in a large puddle of liquid. Also, when my son would carry the cup around, if he didn’t have the cover over the straw, liquid would splatter every where! There would be a trail of milk droplets scattered all over my kitchen floor. Needless to say, I needed a new cup. I tried this Potato brand cup and although I’ve only used it for a week, I can say that it’s a MILLION times better than our old one. It truly doesn’t leak, liquid doesn’t regurgitate through the straw and there are no splatters when he bangs it around. Yay!!! There are a few cons though... - There are a lot of parts to this sippy cup. 7 to be exact. ( The cup, handle, screw top lid, spout, a little piece that attaches the straw to the spout, straw, weight). To me, that seems like a lot for a straw cup to have to take apart and wash and then put back together each time for use. - Personally, I struggle to pull the spout through the lid. I feel like I’m going to tear it each time I put it together. Again, I’ve only had it for a week so maybe I’ll get better at it? - The cap should be removable. I’m afraid that with all the banging around my child will do, the lid will break off soon. That could potentially be an issue since I imagine the breakage will cause sharp edges. - The straw is about .5 inch too long for the cup. I’ll probably cut off the tip so that it’s easier for my son to get the last bit of milk out of the cup. - Its kind of pricey for a sippy cup. $15 in comparison to all the others out there seems a bit high. - Lastly, I’m sure this is probably a rare case, but the cup comes with 2 different spouts (one for ages 6-12mo and one for over 12 months). The spout I received for the 6-12 mo didn’t have holes poked through the spout so absolutely no liquid would come out? I didn’t want to return the whole cup and I couldn’t find a way to contact the seller so I just let it go. Especially since we would primarily use the 12+ month spout. I know it seems like a lot of cons about this cup but overall, i will buy a second Potato Brand cup. I was so tired of constantly cleaning up the mess the other cup made. I’d rather spend a few extra minutes doing dishes than cleaning up spills on the floor and furniture.

Decent Trainer Cup with Minor Issues
The cup looks nice and feels sturdy, but it wasn’t as spill-proof as expected during regular use. My child also took some time to get used to the straw, which led to occasional leaks and messes. It works, but it didn’t fully meet my expectations for everyday use.

Better then Munchkin weighted straw cup!
I really liked the munchkin weighted straw cup but it had some issues. When it got hot outside the contents would over flow out of the cup do to a pressure difference on the inside and outside of the cup. I dealt with this issue with my first child by periodically opening the cup and equaling out the pressure difference. But my second daughter had gotten into the habit of teething on it. And I’d say I’d replaced the cup 3 times before I decided that I wasn’t gonna do that anymore. I looked up other weighted straw cups looking for ones with replacement straws for my crazy kid and came across Doc Brown’s but saw that the cup itself broke very easily a d my kids chucks this thing at the floor all the time so that seemed like a bad idea. I found this and though it had little reviews it did have replacement straws and sippy and bonus it comes with one of each. My honest review is I LOVE THIS THING. It’s very sturdy. I can replace the sippy part to straw or sippy and it’s easy to do. The whole thing comes apart so it’s easy to clean. The sippy bit doesn’t make a mess at all. It’s great. And the straw works well too, sometimes a little milk gets cause in the top of the straw making my kids mouth messy, but never her clothing. By far so happy I bought this a d I will be checking out what else this company makes as I’m that happy with the product.
