Amazing Product!
I love this hospital gown so much! I got a C/S and it made my life so easy in the hospital, especially when trying to breast feed or do skin to skin with my baby. I thought it would be a lot more uncomfortable but it’s honestly really comfortable. I’m like 5’2” and around 170 with this pregnancy and the fit was great. It was also super thin, which I liked because I was very hot in the hospital. The design brings it all together and I got so many compliments! I’ll definitely be buying more with future pregnancies!

Your Labor/Delivery Best Friend You Didn't Know You Needed!
When I was recovering from delivery, as I lay in bed slowly starting to maybe feel sensation in my legs again, I knew I had to one day come back on Amazon and write this review. So after a few weeks of my baby being born and going down my list of orders, here it is: YA'LL NEED TO GET THIS GOWN NOW. It's seriously the best friend you never knew you needed in the delivery room with you. While my dear husband was sleeping away off to the side and I was in all kinds of pain, the velvety T-shirt softness of this gown kept me warm and comfortable on all sides. It was there for me right at the beginning when nurses needed to hook me to monitor my vitals and the baby's vitals, and it handled all the mess of labor and delivery, and then recovery. I didn't even bother to change out of this gown during my 2 1/2 day stay at the hospital; it is THAT good. I loved the easy access in the front to feed my baby or do skin-to-skin, and it was an ease to velcro it back after. On a less glorious note, it was also easy to keep the back partially opened since my chuck needed to be changed often due to the epidural/catheter shindig (just keeping it real, ya'll). I literally told my husband, "This 30-ish dollar velcro dress is WORTH IT!!!" I questioned the price tag before, but my goodness, unless you are making one yourself, BUY THIS. It's worth the comfort and hassle-free time when you're feeling your worst. There's my two cents, and I hope it's helpful!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want to be more modest (and comfortable) while laboring!
Was comfortable during labor and delivery! It created all the right amount of access and EASY Access at that! The color was beautiful and the fabric was soft. I had nurses asking me where I got it, because they liked it! I was able to wash it and everything came out well, so I'm excited to be able to wear it again with my next baby.

Perfect for delivery and hospital stay
These gowns are perfect for baby delivery, breastfeeding, and bonding with baby when you get home. For our first child, I brought one hospital gown, which was perfect for the delivery but had to change soon after because I lost so much blood. I wish I had more than one. For our second child, I decided to bring two hospital gowns: one for the delivery and the other for our hospital stay as baby and I recovered. Before and during delivery, the gown allowed easy access for hospital staff to monitor babies heartbeat and contractions, and provide access to set up epidural. I ordered prints rosewood polkadot and honey leaf. I received a lot of compliments and felt comfortable because the fabric was soft and much preferred over the hospital gown provided. After delivery, I changed into my second gown (honey leaf) and I’m glad that I did. The snaps at the top of the garment allow for easy access for breastfeeding. I continued to receive compliments and just felt overall cheerful because of the bright and happy yellow color. The first few shots with baby are so cute bc of the cute prints of the gown. I ordered a third gown in a different cut and brand, but preferred these because the fabric was softer. If I could do it over again, I would’ve bought and brought all three from this style. One month after baby’s birth and I’m still using the gowns at home for comfy, breastfeeding sessions.

Love & SO thankful!
I wore this gown directly after my delivery in Feb 2024 and this was absolutely amazing during my 4 day stay in the hospital especially after a csection. I had debated on whether to get a gown for the hospital as a bit pricey and I wasn't sure if it was necessary, but I am so glad I did and I loved it so much I immediately ordered a second one. The velcro and buttons in the front and back made the constant checking of my incision, pressing on my stomach, shots in my sides, and general ability to take on and off as well as breastfeed/pump sooooo much easier and more comfortable with this gown instead of the gross hospital one. Also I felt like I had more coverage as the gross hospital gowns are open in the back with just ties and this has the velcro that you can open in a second if needed. Would recommend a dark color gown to not show any stains - I had black. Very soft/comfortable laying in bed for long periods of time. I had no issue laying on the velcro. While a bit pricey, I 100% recommend, especially for a csection and longer stays in the hospital. I also wore as a night gown for some time after delivery. I am 5'3 and the standard one size fit great even with my belly and wasn't too long or short.

Very Comfy, Best for Postpartum
Word of advice: wear this during postpartum and the hospital issued gown during labor. My hospital gown was covered with everything from the labor process. Easy to discard. This gown is super comfy for postpartum and easy to nurse/pump in.

Not impressed, scratchy material and way too long
I had high expectations for this labor gown, especially considering it is an “unnecessary” purchase meant to be more comfortable than hospital gowns. I found the material to be very stiff and not soft like I was expecting. The velcro clasps felt clunky. The gown was also extremely long on my (for reference I am 5’1) and went more than halfway down my calves. It was not flattering or any more soft than a hospital gown. I understand that it provides more coverage, but for the price and the fact that you will need to either wash or dispose of this gown after birth, it is not necessary. I returned my gown, and will be using the ones the hospital provides! I decided to invest my money into a soft, comfortable robe to use in the hospital after birth.

You need this mama
I loved this so much after having my daughter that I got one for one of my close friends who just had her son a couple months ago. Laboring is hard enough on it’s own, and then you are strapped into the hospitals, scratchy, starchy trash bag of a delivery gown. The design of this gown is brilliant, easy Velcro in all the important places: for nursing, for skin to skin, for epidural if needed. No need to hold the gown closed in the back to prevent your cheeks hanging out like in a normal hospital gown. The material is SO soft, and so stretchy, yet durable. I will literally wear it around my house still like a moo moo to get my chores done because it’s just so nice to wear, and I just hit a year postpartum. 😆 I noticed lots of pretty patterns and colors in my search for one of these, but black was nice because giving birth is a messy process and my black gown stayed looking new! You won’t have a single regret for adding this to your hospital bag. Grab one for a friend too for her baby shower, nobody else thinks of this when they’re focused on shopping for the baby, but she will thank you big time 🤍
