I've used a $15 Ravioli cutter in the past. It was a pain because the dough would clog the cutter after each cut. The La Gondola Cutter has an open design to its crimper cutter that does not clog. It makes a more pronounced saw tooth cut than other cutters which I find more satisfying. Both the rotello and straight blades are very sharp. The main part of this dual cutter is 100% brass and parts are machined well (not stamped) The wooden handle is nicely shaped and has a thin finish on it. This is a quality tool and well worth the higher price. You get what you pay for. I love it.

This is a quality kitchen tool. Can tell by the weight of it in your hand. Making pasta is an art, and using a tool like this one adds to the creation.

Cuts and seals beautifully. Expensive but very well made and worth it. Tired of buying cheaply made products that you end up eventually having to replace, were as if you just put the little extra into a quality one if would of ended up costing the same or even saving you money. They definitely took care in making sure this pasta cutter will last, worth the extra cost.

This does a really nice job of cutting pasta. Used to make raviolis, no complaints, cuts really well and feels sturdy! As is the description, the handle is unfinished wood which may be an issue for some people.

This tool is more like a piece of art that will be passed down through the family generations. It’s absolutely beautiful, and the craftsmanship is second to none. It works with the precision of a surgical tool. I did oil and wax the wooden handle for longevity, for it seems to be the weakest part of the tool.It’s a bit pricey, but worth every penny.

This is a fantastic pasta cutter. It is beautiful, heavy, hand-made, and extremely durable.As others have said the handle is rough and unfinished. After hitting it with some 400 grit sandpaper and a bit of olive oil the handle is smooth and finished.

Ho controllato le foto del prodotto e le recensioni di altri clienti, e i supporti erano allineati nella stessa direzione.Inoltre, il prodotto presentava numerosi graffi, facendo dubitare che fosse stato ispezionato. Uno dei rulli aveva una decolorazione che sembrava una bruciatura da saldatura.Essendo un prodotto artigianale che mi aspettavo fosse realizzato con cura, è stato molto deludente considerato che l'ho acquistato dal Giappone con grandi aspettative.
