Not really large, but fits nicely in mt food pantry. Lid seems to have a tight seal. Flour and sugar bags fit right in. It makes my pantry look more organized. Love the handle, pour spout, and measuring cup.

Nice size and seems durable. The opening that you pour from is a little on the small side but would still recommend. Both the cup and lid fit securely onto the container, keeping things fresh.

Not saying there's anything wrong with this container at all, but when I saw it, I thought, okay, this will hold a big box of say, Cheerios, but I really don't think it would. It would hold a regular size box of Cheerios and that's fine. Not that I eat a bunch of cereal and that was the reason I wanted this container in particular. I will buy a box of cereal because I have been "missing" eating cereal and after two mornings of eating cereal, I'll be done for awhile. I hate leaving a box of opened cereal on top of the refrigerator (where I also keep my chips) for a few weeks before feeling that urge for cereal again. Now I can pour the open box into this container and keep it fresh until I'm ready for my next bowl of cereal. I like the pour top and even the measuring cup that I put in another container with my oatmeal. Very pleased with this, my cereal container!

I'm a sucker for organization and storage solutions. So when I came across this 2L 4.4lb ODOM (BPA-free Plastic) Food Storage Container with lid and measuring cup, I wanted to give it a try. When I received it, the ODOM storage container was smaller than I expected. But that was a matter of my perception after seeing some of the images on the site.The container feels sturdy. It does hold over 4lbs of rice; it has a slim profile, so it tucks away nicely on our pantry shelf. Be aware that with the lock-lid and measuring cup cap over the pour spout, the container's overall height is just shy of 12 inches. So measure your intended shelf space.I am pleased with this product. I like having a measuring cup, the ergonomic shape of the body, size, etc. I'm considering getting a couple more for things like oatmeal, cereal, snacks, etc. I can see this being used for pet food or birdseed storage too.

Poor fitting parts

Although I did read that this held 2L, this was smaller than expected. It's nice to portion out rice from larger bags so it's easier to use. The lid was a bit more flimsier than I would have liked -- the tabs that secure the lid in particular makes me worry that it might give out when pouring the rice out.It hasn't happened yet but definitely something to improve on and watch out while using.The cup secures on the spout by twisting which is nice. The handle makes it easier to carry -- though I do worry the lid might pop off. Overall it's a very useful item and an awesome concept though I wish things were a bit more sturdier.

Plus points:1. Just the right height of 1ft with the cap on, fits most kitchen cabinets and pantry.2. Rectangular base, so you can fit a lot in a small space in cabinet space3. See through for identification4. Measurement markings on the side (but don't think that could be accurate for all kinds of flours or grains you can put in :) just an approximation!), that goes up to 2KG (4.4 lbs, though I don't see lb marking on the side). The measuring cup + cap has both liquid oz and cup measurement on the side which is very convenient5. The spout is perfect for pouring out6. air tight closure (but not sure how good that is. I have to try for some more weeks to see if it holds moisture out). but easy to open for use as well!7. No odor seen after the first wash I did before using it.Negative points? so far none!Great buy..

This ODOM Airtight BPA Free Food Storage Container has a little less capacity than some others I’ve seen. Though it serves my purpose, this size might make some uses more impractical. For instance, I don’t believe a family-sized (large) box of cereal would fit. I do like the locks holding the top securely to the canister and the fact that the cover for the spout screws to make an airtight seal. Since I planned to use it for rice, the fact that the screw top serves as a measuring cup is a bonus that will be very functional for my use. The spout works well for pouring rice, but that’s a food item that is small and doesn’t tend to clump. For sugar (or something similar) or larger pieced cereals (since that’s also suggested), I can foresee the possibility that it might not work as smoothly. Though it wasn’t mentioned one way or the other, I did wash it on the top rack of my dishwasher and it did fine. As with many similarly constructed items, it’s not necessarily something I’d do all the time in order to preserve that seal. But it did not warp or allow the heat to alter the shape.
