Very good quality, the sound is very clear and the weight, material, and overall feel of the kalimba is perfect. Solid kalimbas can be heavy if you play for long periods so I definitely think hollowed ones are the way to go if you have joint issues or arthritis in your hands/wrists. All of the accessories are very nice, I like that you can clip the chain on it to change the sound.

We have 3 of these, and this is the favorite. Is built well, sounds nice and the extras were a surprisingly highly enjoyed addition that just makes this one that much better! Highly recommended!

Everything about this kalimba was nice, they send a really heavy duty carrying case, a tuning hammer and accessories like the tassel and chain. It had a really nice loud tone to it due to it being a hollow Kalimba but I do wish they engraved the label into the keys instead of sending you stickers to add on it. This is just a personal preference since I have a deep hatred towards stickers. Other than that the Kalimba sounds amazing and I am in love with the chain they send with it. Adding the chain on creates a whole different sound for it and I find it chilling yet calming. Overall I do recommend this one, I just wish they didn't have stickers for the keys.

The Ling Ting kalimbas are just wonderful. The craftmanship, quality, sound, tone, accessories that come with them, are beyond compare. The wood is always well finished. They are easy to hold. The tines are soft and well aligned. They don't hurt your thumbs. There are NO dead tines. It arrived perfectly tuned. Just love it!

Beautiful instrument. A nice sound. Great packaging. The protective case is great, as you can bring this kalimba with you and keep it safe from being damaged.

Such a beautiful instrument...except the tines had a dull gray film. I used the included cloth, but that didn’t work. I read somewhere to use metal polish, but didn’t want to do that. Read somewhere else to use a pen eraser. After nearly an hour erasing the tines and using the cloth, it looks brand new (😶) Hopefully, I won’t hear an eraser is bad for the tines somewhere else. On a high note, perfectly in tune out of the box. A pretty, mellow, full tone. I’ll definitely buy the 34 note by LingTing when funds permit.

I might change my review when the replacement comes. I was shocked because mine had several dead tines and I bought this because of the reviews saying it has no dead tines. I asked for a replacement because I was very disappointment and surprised. If the replacement is much better than I'll probably move this to five stars hopefully but honestly the kalimba I received was one star. It has a great price and looked great, it was smooth and beautiful and exciting, it sounded great except it had several dead tines and I was pretty badly disappointed. (Update 9/13/24) I got my replacement today and there's a dead tine. It's better than the first kalimba which had four dead tines!! But this one has only one. However that is still very disappointing. Because it's beautiful and feels wonderful, it's a great kalimba but I'm starting to wonder if you can get one with no dead tines. I'll try one more time to have it replaced and hopefully I get a working one. I'm pretty sure this would be a five star kalimba given the value, IF it functioned properly. I still have hope to get one that actually works. I'll try one more time. But after that I'm going to give up on this kalimba. (Update later on 9/13/24) Well okay......I tried to get this replaced but they won't replace it again. I can either accept this kalimba with a dead tine or else return it and get my money back. Wow. That really sucks. I'm very disappointed. I really wanted this kalimba. I'm surprised. I've heard a lot of good things about ling ting, but none of them were my experience.... I hate to be negative and I wanted to love this and be excited about my ling ting. Golly. I'm extremely disappointed in the kalimbas and the service. It sucks they won't even send a replacement. I just wanted one that functions correctly. I think you can get a good kalimba from ling ting. But I couldn't. They won't even replace it a second time. But..... I think that's really shabby of them because it's not my fault I needed a second replacement. Anyway ..... This just took me off guard because I was really looking forward to my new kalimba. ...... But anyway. If you get a good one I'm sure it would be 4 or 5 stars. But if you get one that doesn't work and sounds like crap, they don't work with you. Overall I'm extremely disappointed. I guess I *have* to try a different brand, but I'm pretty unhappy about that.

Los detalles hacen la diferencia. Dede la caja, funda rígida, cadena y adorno, hace que sea superior a otros Kalimba. Son los principales diferenciadores. Soy principiante con el instrumento, para mí el sonido es claro y alto.

Lo que no me gustó fue que tardaron más tiempo del que establecieron y no se actualizaron los tiempos en mis pedidos, si no hasta que solicité que rastrearan mi pedido. Según me comentaron no tenían existencia aunque marcaba disponible. Cuando llegó mi kalimba traía una grieta en la parte de atrás, no la devolví puesto que la grieta no llega hasta adentro y no afecta el sonido. A modo general, es un bonito instrumento, la marca me la habían recomendado mucho, y por eso se que el costo es barato.
