This is the BEST $10 plant supply related investment I’ve ever made! I can’t believe it took me so long to get one! If you’re ever going to repot a plant, absolutely get this or one just like it! This contraption has saved me so much time that would have been spent cleaning! The mat prevents soil from spilling on the wood floors inside my house and keeps the rocks and concrete clean outside. Each corner contains 2 snap-buttons which can be attached to create 4 walls around the mat. It’s also waterproof so I can easily hose it off or wipe it down.It also keeps the actual repotting process more hygienic for the plant. I also use it while top dressing with pumice or worm castings!

I bought this because I live on the second floor. I felt guilty for working on my houseplants while soil was dropping onto my downstairs neighbor‘s patio through the cracks of our balcony 😂 and now I can do it out there without worrying about that, AND also inside during the colder seasons! Takes up a little over half of my dining room table, so you can for sure work on larger houseplants on it. Any leftover soil I can easily bend the mat into the trash can with no mess!

The is a game changer for someone like me that has a lot of plants (indoor and outdoor!). I always struggled with where to repot my plants that would create the least amount of mess. I mix my own potting medium so it’s really messy. I bought this to contain the mess and it works wonderfully. It’s easy to snap together and made of a very sturdy material. It folds very compact for easy storage.

First time I used this was to repot a plant I brought from the flower shop. Well surprise to me when I pulled the plant out hundreds of little ants started crawling out of the soil. Because of the mat I was able to pick it up and run with it outside. Saved me from all those ants running around my house! 😄

Lesson learned. One corner snap was dented in & doesn’t snap closed to complete the rectangle. The sides don’t go up high enough for what I need. Ended up using it as a catch system under my soul potting table to catch what class through the cracks.

This was exactly what I needed to keep the potting soil off my floor. It’s also waterproof and super easy to wash and I just drape it over my bathtub to dry overnight. It also folds up for easy storage.

This mat is so easy to use, easy to clean, convenient and exactly what I needed.I use buy large garbage bags specifically for the same purpose. Not only was it a waste of money but those bags were not as effective since the soil and dirt from my plants would spill pass the edges of the split open bag. This mat contains the mess! The pice point is well worth it. The order came quickly. Very happy.

The snaps are sturdy so far, and the surfaces (both the plastic side and the fabric side) are easy to clean off.
