The Colavita Pastificio was born in 1912 in Sant'Elia a Pianisi in a small town near Campobasso. From here begins the history of the "Indalco" Colavita Food Industry. In 1979, against an increase in production and exports, the company moved to the municipality of Ripalimosani closer to Campobasso. This commitment is aimed at achieving the main corporate objective: to continue to bring together the ancient spirit of tradition with the needs of the market. "To offer the best with consumer products prepared with selected ingredients in compliance with strict quality standards". This is the philosophy of the Colavita pasta factory. State-of-the-art machines were therefore installed and all the equipment aligned with the highest quality standards. The increase in production and exports has been constant, but has not changed in any way the care and dedication to the product. Today Colavita is a modern reality of the Italian food industry and its pasta has long since crossed national borders to reach North and South America, Eastern and Western Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia.
