So are there 120 in this package? Someone mentioned in their review that there are only around 50.

The “sticks” have 120 pieces, the “tubes” have 60 pieces. The sticks are more like a regular straw size, the tubes just a bit larger.

Can I use it for calligraphy pen?

It doesn't come w/a pointed end. the ends are round as shown in picture.

Will jewelry wire fit through these?

It depends on the size of the wire and the size of the opening of the straw. I would think with the smallest straw you could fit 6g wire through it. Smaler than 6g would fit.
