The Citizen Women’s Eco-Drive Dress Classic Watch is absolutely beautiful and lives up to the quality you expect from Citizen. The design is timeless and elegant—perfect for both everyday wear and dressier occasions. It looks refined without being flashy. The Eco-Drive feature is a huge plus. I love not having to worry about battery replacements, and the watch keeps excellent time. It’s lightweight, comfortable on the wrist, and the face is clean and easy to read. Overall, this watch is a perfect blend of style, reliability, and convenience. An excellent choice if you want a classic, well-made timepiece that will last for years.

I took the pictures before ripping out the protective plastic strips. But it's a keeper! I love everything about it. I own another one (blue dial) from the same brand and I can say that they are both excellent watches. The mother-of-pearl dial on this one is so delicate and not annoyingly shiny. The overall watch is not annoyingly shiny, which I like. The "rose gold" tone is very muted and just adds elegance to it. The measurements in the description are spot on. The clasp is smooth and easy to use. The dial has just enough contrast that I can read the time immediately. Versatile, light, beautiful! The only thing I personally don't care about is the day counter and my blue dial one has it too. I don't bother settind it at all, but it's not a reason to take a star away from an otherwise perfectly good watch. The eco drive works great. Highly recommend it!

Terrific eco drive watch, the mixed gold/silver look, makes it work with multiple outfits

This was a gift for my wife. She's been telling me that she's wanted a new wristwatch for years now. She formerly worked in a jeweler's shop so she's a bit picky when it comes to things like watches. She wanted something that she knew would be easy to get repair parts for in the unlikely event that it ever had to be repaired. She's mentioned that brands like Citizen had readily available parts and were overall easy to repair by independent shops if needed, (though I expect no issues). She specifically said she didn't want a Fossil because her old Fossil watch failed and a jeweler couldn't repair it without sending it in to the manufacturer for in-house repair which was not worth the cost. She loves the watch. She told me that it was exactly what she was expecting. It has a distinctly feminine design and it's size is great for a petite frame. It's small, but not tiny and the face is clearly legible. The design would really fit in with nearly any situation. She wears it to work and out to dinner in the same day and it'll work with just about any look/outfit. I really like the mother-of-pearl watch face; it flashes some subtle blue/green colors when it hits the light right. The watch is stainless steel, so no precious metals but that helps keep the price down on an really nice looking watch. It's been running for the last 4 months and time has been dead-on so I expect it keeps time perfectly. The Eco-Drive feature is really nice; it's solar powered and recharges a lithium battery that never needs replacing.

Once you get over the fact that you did not receive the color that you were expecting you will find that this is actually a very nice, elegant watch. I was really looking forward to the pinkish tint (rose gold/silver colors) but the rose gold part is actually yellow gold. Luckily, it's not a harsh yellow gold, or else I would have returned it. It blends very well with the silver and the mother of pearl makes it even more pretty. Pros: 1) elegant, beautiful, pretty 2) great quality 3) easy to tell time 4) no allergy, no skin rash 5) the hands glow in the dark 6) it shows the date 7) You can charge this watch by exposing it to ANY source of light (natural or artificial). Since this is an ECO drive watch do not keep it in a drawer, case or any dark place for a long time because that will cause it to stop working. 8) I believe it is also waterproof. Water splashed on mine several times and nothing happened. Cons: 1) not the same exact color as the picture advertised 2) little bit loose for my small wrist but the chains can be removed

This watch is spectacular. I searched for weeks for a solar-powered watch - I can't begin to say how sick I am of paying to replace batteries on my old watch. I wanted a watch that's somewhere between professional and casual, solar, subtle, bling-free (why do modern watches all have tacky sparkly stones all over them?), small (I have tiny wrists), durable, pretty, feminine but not overpowering, and easy to coordinate with basically everything I own short of dressy evening wear. Essentially, I wanted a decision-free watch that I can put on every morning without thinking twice about it, and have it work perfectly, match perfectly, and keep perfectly accurate time. This watch does all of those things, and I'm absolutely in love with it. The mother of pearl face is quite subtle, but it catches the light beautifully in flashes of delicate pinks and greens (reminds me of the northern lights). I had to remove all but one of the extra links to make it fit my small wrist, but it does fit. I've owned it for just over a month, worn it every day and so far it shows absolutely no signs of wear. The minute and hour hands glow in the dark - perk. Assuming the solar battery holds up as advertized, this watch is about as perfect as a watch can be for me. If anything goes amiss, I'll update my review accordingly. Edited to add: I wrote my original review on June 15, 2013 after about a month of ownership. It has now been almost two years, and I'd just like to add that this watch is everything that I had hoped it would be. I've worn it, quite literally, every single day since I bought it, and it shows virtually no signs of wear and tear. The crystal is in perfect condition, and I haven't exactly been gentle with it. The Eco-Drive has worked exactly as promised. I just came back to purchase a second Citizen Eco-Drive watch (smaller, for dressier occasions), and I can't imagine ever needing to try another brand again.

I love this watch. I wanted something classic, slightly feminine that would not make me itch & that was easy to use. This is made of stainless steel so I don't itch. It is easy to change the time. The date is a little tricker but I was able to fiddle with it & figure it out. I love that is is powered by light so I'll never need to change a battery. If you have small wrists it's a little big but you can take links out so that is negligible. The date is a little difficult to read if you don't have great vision but that's ok. I've got glasses that give me 20/25 vision so it just takes me moving it around a little to hit the light right. I love the mother of pearl face for that feminine touch. And I love that it is not super flashy. I've worn this pretty much every day for the last few months since I've gotten it. I haven't gotten it adjusted yet because life has been busy but it looks great. It will look better once the links are removed but it stays on my wrist so that's what matters. And it's simple design means it goes with almost everything.

Very nice mid-priced watch. It was important to me that the face not be too large and this one is perfect. I have other Citizens watches that are over 35 years old, and they're still making them well today. The bands are very well made and the whole watch looks lovely. Easy for my favorite jeweler to take out a single link for me. (I have 7 inch wrists, so the band arrives with a nice long length.)
