Is the belt adjustable enough to fit over a bulky motorcycle jacket.

I have used it over my RST weatherproof jacket, I’m a 44inch even before putting the jacket on and because it’s elasticised it does stretch. It is a snug fit which I prefer so it doesn’t flap around. Thought was good value.
