Educational Insights Kanoodle

I got two of these for my 4 & 7 yo, and they both have been entertained for hours. Choose your own adventure in terms of difficulty, but both of my kids love puzzles and these little things are amazing. My only qualm is the ease at which we can lose the pieces. I've already had to order an extra set to refill pieces lost in the abyss of a rental car. I wish they were maybe magnetic, that might help keep them in place with room to close the box even if everything isn't perfectly in place. They have been especially great in the car, but losing pieces may keep us coming back to reorder or find something similar.

This game was a great companion for my kids on a recent trip, both in the car and on the plane. It kept them engaged and entertained for long stretches, which made the travel time so much easier for everyone. The compact size made it easy to pack, and the pieces stayed put well enough that we didn't have to worry about losing anything mid-journey. It's a fun way to keep kids occupied while also building problem solving skills. Highly recommend for family travel!

Compact, easy to pick up and put down- not a huge time commitment but engaging enough that it's worth getting out-. Good for travel, for for little brain breaks, or if you just have too much energy to sleep but not enough to get anything big done. I like it and so do my kids.

My son loves this game and it has become our go-to gift for friends’ birthdays! My son (6) has pretty severe combined-type ADHD, but he is also academically gifted. Kanoodle scratches his brain in a way that he can focus, be challenged, do something physically, and get good input and feedback when he successfully Kanoodles. He does not usually Kanoodle using the guide book, he likes to Kanoodle from scratch (I guess you could call it that?). I do feel like this is a particularly great game for kids who like a challenge. Excellent alternative to screen time! My son can focus on this game for a solid hour or more, and he enjoys every minute.

Great for ages 5+! Such a fun brain exercise for everyone! I even love playing this lol. Keeps my kids entertained for a while, which I love. It’s fun to watch them figure it out. Compact, durable, bright colors! Great for travel (which I like to bring to restaurants) Absolutely worth it

Tempted by the low price, compact size, and colorful pieces, I bought this game to add a little variety to my sons' Easter Basket. Little did I know, such a small package would steal the show! Kanoodle has gone nearly everywhere my son (11 years old) has for the past 3 days. Anytime he has a few minutes, he'll whip this out and solve some puzzles; he's particularly fond of the 3D puzzles, his only criticism being that there are fewer of those than the 2D puzzles in this version. I feel that this little game is engaging for people of all ages. For myself, I prefer the 2D puzzles...but to be honest, I haven't been able to get my hands on them much...yet ;). While the box is sturdy, the hinges need to be aligned just so for the box to fully close, which may be a bit frustrating for younger kids. If it ever becomes too much of an issue, I plan to throw a rubber band around the box for added security. I would probably do this for traveling as well. Just in case. My son created a video showing the completion of the first 3D puzzle and wrote the following review: "Very fun, very great for playing in the car. Quite mobile compared to most other games. Absolutely great, love it. However, it would be nice if there where more 3D puzzles, but with the number of ones they have, they will last you some time. Buy it. Now." In summary : We recommend Kanoodle highly for it's fun puzzles, colorful parts, and convenient portable case and will likely be checking out some of the other versions soon!

Ein sehr schönes Denkspiel. Ideal bei Reisen oder für regnerische Sonntage. Meine Kinder haben auch Spaß daran und lernen die Lösungen auswendig.

I saw this on TikTok but honestly it’s such a great puzzler that you can play anywhere. Worth every penny (or cent)

This puzzle is deceptively simple and incredibly engaging. It’s the kind of thing you pick up for a few minutes and suddenly realize half an hour has passed. The range of challenges keeps it interesting, easy enough to start, but challenging enough to stay invested and genuinely think things through. I especially appreciate that it’s compact and travel-friendly, yet still feels substantial in terms of mental stimulation. It’s refreshing to have something completely screen-free that actually pulls you in and keeps your brain working. On a more personal note, I’ve been recovering from a recent injury that affected my cognitive abilities, and this puzzle has been a really positive tool for me. It helps me practice focus, problem-solving, and spatial reasoning in a way that feels encouraging rather than frustrating. It’s been motivating to feel those skills improving bit by bit while doing something that’s genuinely fun. Great for all ages, thoughtfully designed, and surprisingly impactful. Highly recommended.
