These are what bearings you need for John Deere LA, L, D, and E series deck spindles. Be sure to pull the dust seals and repack the bearing with high temp grease. It appears there is just a lithium grease on the bearing which would be fine for low speed applications. For a deck spindle it will require high temp grease. These bearings are a good deal and allow me to rebuild a deck spindle for $4.

I used these to repair a ford 5.4 liter serpentine belt tensioner. I measured the old one which was roast and these were the closest to what the destroyed bearing measured. I have a bunch of Ford's and now I can rebuild over $200 worth of them for a little more than $10.
