They are really helpful in controlling my blood sugar levels and I like the flavor a lot. I can get the rich chocolate (which is my favorite - yum) locally but had a hard time finding the pecan and wanted to try it so was happy to find it on Amazon. I'm type 2 diabetic and my doc had been trying very hard to put me on meds that would cost me $1,000 every 3 months. I have been trying equally hard NOT to be put on them and have been working hard to improve my BS by losing weight (why can I put on 2-3 lbs in a day but it takes a couple weeks to lose it 🙄), walking daily, watching carb intake. It seems to be working. These are a tasty and handy meal substitute especially to keep in the fridge at work. I have tried the rich chocolate, caramel chocolate, and pecan so far and like them all. Not cheap but as I take them instead if a meal not too expensive. The digestive issues mentioned by several - yes, they do give me some diarrhea sometimes but I think it is the combo of them and metformin - a lot of things - mist anything I eat really - give me that issue when I have taken metformin. I probably would not drink one if I was not going to have easy access to a toilet (or was going to a meeting). But, to be honest, I pretty much avoid eating if I have taken metformin and will not have easy access! (I sometimes just don't take the metformin if I'm traveling - not an issue right now with Covid). Overall very pleased. Did not fill in the stars for sheerness - seems a weird option?

Having diabetes can be a pain. These Glucerna shakes are really the best tasting shakes for diabetics, and the carb steady really works for me. I usually drink one of these before bed. If my glucose is normal at bedtime and I don't eat or drink anything before bed my blood sugar will spike in the morning. The carb-steady in the Glucerna shakes keeps the morning spike at bay. I especially like the butter pecan. I also freeze one and eat it with a spoon. It isn't ice cream, but beggars can't be choosers, LOL. I would recommend these shakes to anyone who wants a meal replacement or who has diabetes and needs a healthier snack.

I tried Vanilla, Strawberry and the classic butter pecan flavors and all of them are delicious. It really helped me to replace a meal per day, in my case the dinner. It makes me feel full, it doesn't affect my stomach and when I check my sugar after few hours of drinking the shake my sugar is at the perfect/normal levels. I really recommend this shakes, they do not have artificial sugar so doesn't have the taste of artificial sugar.

I bought this product to make a recipe I found on Glucerna's website, as usual, I was in a hurry and didn't pay attention that I purchased a case of it instead of a 6 pk. I was scared I wouldn't like the taste----but to my surprise, I love it and will buy another case soon.

Tastes great. On the other hand, for so many calories and such a small bottle, I don't feel full after I have had it. It tastes so sweet and good that I end up wanting 2 or a snack in addition. Trying to control my weight, I will probably have to find something else. Also important, I have been told I am pre-diabetic, so I can not give measurements regarding sugar stability. Nonetheless, I would only use this if I needed to gain weight for the long-term. I gave it 4 stars because it tastes good, and it might work for some people.

My 87 year old mom lives 85 miles from me but needs my help to obtain food and products like this. I have found that we can have the grocery store deliver her food and Amazon deliver products like this. We put it on a Subscription delivery and it works like a charm! A case arrives just when she needs it. She thinks it is magic that we know when she is running out. Another great thing is that the Butter Pecan is more palatable than the vanilla or strawberry that we have gotten in the past!

I buy these shakes for my grandmother she's 96 years old she loves them the assorted flavors and I never tell her when I'm ordering it so it's a surprise every time there's a delivery thank you Amazon.

I just love this product !!! I am a newly diagnosed diabetic. I read the information on the bottle and decided to give it a try. Much to my surprise and delight , I found it was like drinking a milk shake ONLY diabetic friendly. It is a perfect meal or snack and does NOT raise my glucose level. Thanks you Glucerna.
