Ecover Zero Laundry Detergent, 42 Washes, 1.5L

I’ve been really happy with this laundry detergent. It cleans clothes well and leaves behind a subtle, pleasant scent that’s not overpowering or artificial. I initially chose it because some family members have sensitive skin, and we’ve had no issues, so far.Pros:- Effectively cleans clothes- Light, natural scent- Gentle on sensitive skin- Contains quality ingredientsCons:- The bottle can be a bit awkward to handle, especially when fullWould definitely recommend this to others looking for a gentle and effective laundry liquid.

I try to be as eco-friendly as possible and I've been buying eco detergents and softeners for several years. Two years ago when my old softener was no longer available I bought this in a single bottle as the reviews were so good.My usual washing liquid does have a lovely scent, and so did my old softener. But when I received my first bottle of this softener I couldn't believe how strong the scent was, it smelt much nicer than any of my previous washing products.The first wash I did was a set of velvetsoft bedding. I put it on with a capful of softener and once it finished the scent was amazing. I was able to get the bedding dried outside. It had been extremely soft beforehand but it felt even softer after it was dried and still smelt strongly of appleblossom.As I hadn't got round to putting another set of bedding on, i decided to put the newly washed set back on as it smelt so good. A week later when I went to change it the scent still lingered.Everything I washed had the same results, so when the bottle was finished I decided to subscribe to it, that's when I saw this set which I thought was great value for money so I subscribed to it.One time it was unavailable so I was sent the large refill bottle and as it lasted even longer, I now subscribe to it.I find it very useful being able to subscribe to products on Amazon, as it not only saves money I don't have to remember to reorder them.I love this softener, and every time I do a wash, the house smells gorgeous. Anyone who's smelt it has asked me what I.use, and a lot of them use it now, too.This is the best softener I've used and I thoroughly recommend it!

This doesn’t make me itch so I am safe using it to wash clothes bedding and towels. It cleans well too. It gets mud and sweat out of my very active son’s stuff too. It is much nicer than some of the highly perfumed stinky and irritating to skin big brands of liquid stuff.

I really wanted to give this product a 5 star review because it’s an eco friendly plant based product however it isn’t as good as something like Lenor for example. The smell is very nice but once the clothes have dried you can hardly smell it, but more importantly it doesn’t leave the clothes as soft as Lenor does. I’m going to carry on using it because I don’t like the thought of washing my clothes in animal derivatives (which Lenor contains) however I will be keeping a look out for other eco friendly products too which might perform a bit better. But still is a good product, I guess in the grand scheme of things losing a bit of scent and softness in the fabric for the sake of the environment is worth while

I have used this for a number of years now. I have very sensitive skin and cannot tolerate heavily fragranced detergents. I can’t even use Fairy Non Bio!There is zero fragrance to this detergent. It cleans well and removes stains if pre-treated.I do miss being able to use fragrances detergents but my skin thanks me for it.I also buy this for about £5 a bottle.

Great laundry detergent, gets clothes clean ,leaving no residue , my towels stay soft , just don't overuse the amount stated. In my machine I found less was more .

I am not one for buying expensive cleaning products but this is something I indulge on. When I first bought this I had concerns as I have skin sensitivities (eczema and dermatitis flares) and usually opt for non bio, however as this is an eco product I gave it the benefit of the doubt and has never irritated my skin, it has left my clothes soft and without that awful fibrous feeling some detergents do. The detergent itself doesn’t have a potent scent, but my clothes and bedding smell lovely and clean, it’s just a fresh scent and it does genuinely smell of it when it comes out of the washer and has been ironed (sometimes clothes just don’t smell of anything with certain detergents but this one really does). It also seems to really deeply cleanse, without that horrible ‘fusty’ smell that some powders leave behind. Also does what it says on the pack and leaves clothes etc with their colours in tact. Highly recommend, especially when on offer on Amazon!
