Very Well Written and Documented
First of all, I want anyone reading this review to understand that I am not shaming, blaming, or discrediting anyone who, after doing their own research, find this information to be difficult to accept... it is the nature of research where we find that certain truths are difficult to swallow that certain readers will not or cannot receive the enlightenment they are given. Personally, my research is always to find the absolute truth when possible that, like a science experiment, produces the same veriable response again and again and again. If it does not, then it either is not the truth experientially speaking, does not meet the standard of proof, and either must have a flaw or should be abandoned. For instance the Darwinian theory is and still remains a theory- it has been dying for many years, and only propped up by scientists who do not want to step into the light of truth completely, for whatever reason. So it is with discussions about religion and the sanctity of human life; if life is not deemed sacred by those who espouse their beliefs, then religion is useless, and any relationship with God is suppressed. If you have a very high mental acuity and ability to connect dots, this book will definitely help you to understand the difficulties I had, and you may have, about why this religion is so hard to understand. I have read several books on this topic and everyone of them confirms the information in this book and vice versa. To me the Bible of this religion was awkward, redundant, and not an actual, verifiable erudition in keeping with the actual life of the author; since it was written 75 years after that author's passing many changes were made because of language difficulties among the many tribes attempting to be consolidated into one nation and political entity. This is NOT a novel- it is a study book, examining the truthfulness of the text from beginning to end. It exposes the author's challenges mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, and the thoughts, words, deeds, and corresponding actions.I would like to recommend two other books to go along with this one that give historical backgrounds written along the same premise: The Life and Religion of Mohammed, the Prophet of Arabia, Rev. J.L. Menezes, originally printed in 1911; and Life of Mohammed, Founder of The Religion of Islam, and of the Empire of the Saracens, Rev. G.W. Bush, AM, written in 1831- both of these are available on Amazon (I am not a seller), the first in book form, the latter comes in Kindle and paperback....It is only by reading, studying, and evaluating that one can arrive at the truth and make right decisions about living with the rest of the human race in peace. If one is bound by emotion and jumping to unvalidated conclusions about a writers intentions or presentation, there will never be peace in the soul, and the devastating results we see in our world today become more and more evident. Everyone then will be our enemy, and that is not the truth we seek.

Don’t think you know the Koran until you read this book
I was a curious about what is written in the Koran and how to interpret its text. I do not have a vast knowledge of religions, but have a keen interest. I have read the Old and New Testament and wanted to read the Koran. I have heard much said about what is in the Koran, but wanted to read for myself. The book is a great initiation. It explains the history of the Koran, difference between Shia and Sunni, and gives commentary to understand the relevance of each section (Sura). If you don’t know much about Islam and want a great starting text this is it!

Wonderful acquisition
This is one beautiful book on the inside, just as on the outside. Carefully about its good look, made of quality paper, inspired on the looks of Arabic art. The content is just as meticulous and excellent.

The Qur'an Dilemma English Volume 1
Well researched, style appropriate to subject, arguments clearly made, attention given to different opinions, not wordy. Well worth one's time to read. There are few books on the market like this one. At least I don't know about other such books. I hope there will be many more in the near future. Many thanks to those who translated this work into English. I look forward to Qur'an Dilemma Volume 2.

A most insightful book that reveals detailed research into the ...
A most insightful book that reveals detailed research into the early beginnings of Islam and Muhammud's life--much info is given that is not found in other resources. The author also provides some expository views on selected verses of the first few chapters of the Qur'an.Volume 2 of the Qur'an Dilemma is mentioned, but is unavailable as it was never published.

Neal fosters review
Although I would agree that It is very common nowadays to criticize in the context of bible or old testament however I find this work wonderful and great ...eagerly waiting for Kindle version as well second volume. On old testaments you get thousands of critical studies but on Quran ,it is a ver good move which will open the new doors.

Analyzing the Confusion of the Radical Islamists
This is a comprehensive yet easily understood explanation of differences between the Christian/Judeo beliefs and the Muslim faith. I found this very useful in analyzing and understanding why radical Islamists are led to believe the Muslim faith is the only faith in the eyes of God.
