Has anyone ran with a phone is these pockets? Does it fall out?

I have 2 pairs of these shorts and a Samsung Note 9. I would not trust jogging with phone in pocket. The phone fits, for walking. These are excellent shorts for running just leave the phone at home. Happy Shopping :)

Not sure of the exact measurements; however, I’m 5’6” and they ride mid-thigh in me.

What is the inseam size? 4 or 5 inches?

These are short shorts, certainly not 5 ". The under layer is 4" and the shorts are less inseam than that. These are perfect shorts for around the house verses the gym or going out. They are excellent quality, comfortable and well made. Happy Shopping :)

Is the under short fitted (compression)?

The under short is fitted, but not a compression type material. These are great shorts for any kind of exercise as the under short keeps things covered especially when doing any floor work at the gym!
